This dream was a lot more ironic and funny on my end but I'll try and explain.
In the dream I was in an old style tavern, lots of people in there, and I knew I was supposed to be explaining the thieves guild to 3 new recruits. It was loud, so I sat around the table and just talked them through it. After that I was done for the day, watched the enteryainment they had on stage (nothing too interesting, just some small band) and noticed a well dressed little girl sitting alone in the corner. Out of lack of things to do and interest, I walked over and started a conversation with her. I do remember most of the conversation, but I wont repeat it here as it was a bit boring. We were just discussing things like the music and what not and how old each other were and other such stuff.
In the middle of our chat someone busted a pot with hot water in it, and this girl cast some magic to fix it. I complimented her on this and near the end of the dream asked her what her name was, and she said Jaela.
Now to explain why this is funny and ironic, but it has to do with D&D. In a campaign setting, there is a large country that is focused around a religion known as the Silver Flame. This is a pretty harsh country with a lot of laws to keep evil out, and paladins walk around everywhere. Well, Jaela happens to be the 13 year old leader of this country, put in rule after the last leader was assassinated. SO, I, both a thief and assassin, made friends with Jaela, the cleric/paladin religious leader of the Silver Flame. I have to say though, she was pretty cute^^
