Really short, but basically I was walking down a wooden walkway in some sort of zoo when we (I was surrounded by other people visiting the zoo) see a few trees to our left and right that have a couple spider webs in them.
The trees were only about 10 feet tall, mind you, with the walkway being about 2 feet off the ground.
The spider webs were of decent size, and all the spiders were just sitting on them, minding their own business (because in real life, they're usually hiding. These weren't.)
The spiders were actually quite beautiful, with vibrant colors (usually a shiny bluish purple color with hints of pink and whatnot) and one of the smaller ones had these little feathery bristles on the sides of it's legs that had a different color on them. They were just very exotic looking and visually pleasing.
However,
The spiders had another special quality...they were quite big. The smallest one I saw (the one with the feathery parts on the sides of it's legs) was about 8 inches long (that is counting leg span). And the biggest one, which was a bluish fuzzy one, was about the size of a basketball (counting legs).
Though as I said, none of them were being hostile. They were just sitting there, minding their own business.
