| In regards to Tim's report. With Atheism, just because they don't have a "rulebook" doesn't mean that they are immoral and run around stealing and killing people because they feel like it.
Because no human has the knowledge of what is definitively wrong and definitively right, it is impossible to make a complete, concrete set of rules that everyone should follow. Because of this, I think we should look at things and see if they are detrimental to society. For example. Murder is wrong. Why? Because if everyone started killing each other, we would wipe our own species out. That's just common sense.
Stealing is wrong too because if everyone stole things then no one would make money off the goods they sold and the economy would fail, whatever, you know what would happen.
I'm not saying everyone should look at things this way, but I think it makes sense. | |
