Alrighty, so I was listening to some early edits from Mike's new album today. He's definitely incorporated some Dubstep influences in his early cuts, which strikes me as an excellent oppourtunity to break the barrier of electronic music and rock&roll, as does Mike [clearly]. In order to do that, I'm listening to more and more mixes on my own to get a feel of the genre and also where I could incoroporate my own style.
So this is basically going to be a catch all for any Dubstep mixes I find here and there that peak my interest. [Basically, I want them all in one place so I can jam with each mix right on one page. Granted I could achieve the same ends searching my favs and downloading them individually as mp3s or WMAs, but then again my blog presents an oppourtunity for an even further expansion of my Electronica scope. Afterall, these things don't allow comments for nothing.... So, you Dubstep/Electronica fans, post your favs here too! I'd greatly appreciate the insight from more seasoned fans of the genre. ((One thing, no Techno, I'm not going for any sort of dance remixes or anything. I really want more raw and laid-back mixes. And you'll get the idea once I start dropping my picks in.))]
Oh, one more thing. This is more of a workstation than a discussion thread, so other than posting mixes, feel free to voice any comments through a PM to me.
