Eh... to be honest Gaia appears to have a lot of problems, only one of them although one of the biggest appears to be the same problem I have with a lot of the 'big name' RP sites. Moderators who just aren't watched closely enough, basically getting away with saying and doing whatever they want and the actual members running for cover praying to the powers that be that they just don't draw the attention of the giant child with a magnifying glass. I'm certainly not a fan, but I was on there for a long time roleplaying. The people themselves aren't too bad... well sometimes... um.... okay like 90% they're bad, but that last 10% is pretty cool! I don't get on the site anymore, I stopped participating in roleplays on there a long time ago. I still got on once and a while though to advertise my own RPs when that was something you could still do, but now they're adamantly against it. So I just don't touch it with a ten foot pole, I mean I'll admit it's kind of cool having the whole 'dress-up' your avatar thing going on, but so much of the good stuff actually costs real money now and to some extent it's just not worth it. I mean if I could ever set up so there was something like that I could build into a site of mine without over-stepping some kind of copyright and it works, I'd probably do it... but it's just not worth it for Gaia Drama.

I'm not entirely sure if this thread is just about trashing on Gaia... or is it actually for the mention of rps off-site? If so I do have a forum rp that I run and because of the seven day wait for links I've decided to not really go crazy trying to advertise in anyway on this forum. Instead I thought I might just mention the forum rp, maybe if anyone is curious they can ask and I can get more into it. Than if there is interest by the time the seven days are up I'll post a link and if there isn't than I'll just drop it. I'd much rather be here and participate, than get kicked for trying to shove a off-site game down people's throats even unintentionally. That way if I advertise it's something people want! and not just some crazy attempt to get people on my forum with complete disregard of mutual respect.

Yay! Questions, it might be dead sir, but we might beat some life out of it yet.... (reference to what was said in introductions.)

1. We haven't been around that long, still pretty 'new born'. Only about a little more than two weeks, 16 days. So yeah we're pretty new, I haven't figured out a theme or anything yet so it's still just the stock theme for the site. (Although I kind of want it that way for now, I really want the forum to focus more on good creative writing than pretty bells and whistles, not that I have anything against bells and whistles just not my primary skill set and less of a focus for my game for now.)

2. Honestly not very yet, I mean I'm on everyday all day like I will be here. I also have another player that gets on daily and tries to post at least once a day in all the threads she's required to. We have a third player who gets on and posts about once a week so far, in other words really not very much at all. I have the last two guys who are just lurkers from what I can tell, they've joined the forum, but have yet to even make a character. I'm advertising every opportunity I get, everywhere I can and I just haven't had a lot of luck yet. Still I will say that the NPCs post daily there is more than enough to keep the 'story' moving and between me and the other player the game has actually progressed at pretty steady pace. I also intend to keep running this game even if I'm the only one there... hopefully it doesn't come to that, but the point is that it will never go on 'hiatus' and it isn't being shut down anytime soon.

3. It's definitely a similar format, you guys are forumotion too right? or proboards? Mine is forumotion and it is basically the same format just the stock theme... I mean I think the only major difference other than a lack of theme is the sub-boards show up for the main forum under their main boards. Other than that... I think it's basically the same shindig...

4. About me? Um... well I'm 25 so young, I've been roleplaying since I was 12. I've been making stories since than too, but my writing has never really been up to my own standards so I've never really tried to make something out of it. I'm gay, sometimes that's a big deal for people sometimes not. (I've actually been kicked from a few games for just being gay, yup that sort of thing still happens. One time a Game Master told me it was 'okay for me to play a gay character as long as I didn't promote or advertise his sexuality in anyway.' Well guess what.... sometimes a gay guy is just a queenie b**** and that's just who they are. (Suffice it to say my character was flamboyant as hell and I got kicked... yeah I forgot about that one til now... apparently I can be a bit of a trouble-making rebel when it comes to specifically homophobia...) That would be the only reason that I would act so blatantly out of turn though. My characters are usually if not always gay... I mean I might play a female sometimes or a heterosexual male as a secondary character or as a player-run npc sort of deal, but never as a primary. I love writing stories! especially epic ones with a lot of good build-up and drama leading to an awesome and jaw-dropping conclusion.

Um... uh... what else about me. I sort of have this semi-obsession with elements. (14 elements on my elemental table; life, fire, shadow, earth, war, magic, light, wind, water, death, mind, love, spirit, and freedom.) <- My personal table of existing elements. I even sort of have this spiritual philosophy/way of living (I'm a pagan in r/l, specifically unorthodox sami; that's the original faith of the vikings! It's traditions and believes were passed down through my family from generation to generation.) Where I attune/dedicate each month of the year to one of the first twelve elements, not the last two as we are always living in spirit and freedom to some extent. For example this next month is my 'shadow month' I'll be doing dream work, night time alter meditation all that sort of stuff. I even plan to hold a retrieval ceremony (for drawing spent creative power back to yourself to refuel.) and a 'time-traveling party' as my family calls them basically we have a potluck of 'mystic' foods and we kind of hold our own familial 'coven meetings'.

That's a pretty good chunk of info I think.
