Crysis and Midnight Food Run Empty
PostSubject: Crysis and Midnight Food Run   Crysis and Midnight Food Run EmptyThu 12 Jan 2012 - 12:00

I dreampt that I was at my friend's house playing (I think) some game with freaky dinosaurs in it trying to eat me and some other stuff......idk, it's a videogame. Can't remember much about it other than the fact that I was in some facility or something in the game. I stop playing and talk to him or something, and then put Crysis in. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be the second one, but idk.

Some of his other friends come over and we talk or something, then I pick up the controller and start playing again. The area in Crysis looked the same as the other one, except that there weren't any T-rexes trying to bite me in half. There were soldiers however. So I played, and after a few seconds, I realize that there's a lag in the input. I make the comment that with how it's being, it'd be easier to play with the controllers built for flying games (the ones where there's a stick with buttons on either side of you. idk.)
They act like I'm weird for saying that, I shrug it off and continue playing.

I suddenly want to be epic, since hey, it's Crysis. So I sprint for the edge of this big metal thing I was on, where there's a several hundred foot drop on the other side. The side of the metal thing was slanted, so I was trying to built up enough speed to jump over it and hit the ground on the bottom.

I sprint for it and hold the jump button, charging a jump like you can in the game. I fly high into the air, but not far enough. I realize that I'm not going to pass the incline, so I cross my fingers and hold the B button (in the real game, if you're sprinting, you can hold the B button to quickly drop to the ground and slide on your ass/back. This allows you to shoot and whatever while moving quickly, in a crouched-like position. I just wanted to slide and keep momentum in the dream however)

Somehow, it worked. When I made contact with the incline, I began sliding down it at a really fast speed, barely making it under these guard rails that were on the incline (to prevent falls or something.)
Suddenly, it was as if I had the stronger armor on, and was sort of like I had the ethereal shout from Skyrim. Or more specifically, I had the armor on, and I saw that it was running out of energy quickly, and it was supposed to negate fall damage like the ethereal shout in Skyrim can. I jokingly start to freak out, as I know I'm not going to survive the fall. I didn't care though, I hardly ever do care if I die in a game, if it's interesting and something I initiated.

Sliding at incredible speed, I hit a slightly differently angled part of the slope and I am rocketed off of it and straight into the pavement below, just after my armor guage ran out (the power supply to keep it running, that is). And I quite obviously die. lol

I play the game some more and all that, but then my friend and the others start talking about how they're hungry, and that they were going to go to this resturaunt to eat. It was like 1 AM.

So, I shut the game off and we go outside. For some reason, my friend's dogs (like 5, somewhat large dogs) get in the car, and I cautiously get in beside them. We drive to some really dark, mostly empty parking lot, and get out. I don't see the place. We walk, with me hardly able to see (which is odd, because I have pretty good night vision irl), and we go down this slight incline and around the corner, where there is this little place with something comparable to flood lights on.

There were other people getting food as well, but only one or two.

I wake up before anything else happens
