I just don't get why he's resisting the fact that just because they show anthropomorphism, it somehow doesn't make them horses. Basically what he's saying is "My cat can play the keyboard (Almost any animal can be trained to do shit like this) and stand and walk on its back two legs (Quadrupeds have this capability), so it's a not a 5 on the listed chart." I've yet to see a valid argument on your side, so I don't get how you could expect me to understand.

Actually Sai, they'd technically fall under the "3" category, on account of the fact that they wear clothes and use tools/whatever.

I don't care what you say regarding real life animals, I am going by the furry chart, nothing else.

Fact of the matter is, they are not real animals. They are cartoons. This should be painfully obvious by the fact that they speak, wear clothing**, have a humanoid organized society, and other than that, simply do things unlike any horse in real life has the capability to do.

I don't care if a horse in real life can stand on two legs for a few seconds, or even a minute. These CARTOON horses can walk as a humanoid, for an indefinite time. Not to mention everything already stated regarding what they do.



I may not like the show, but I can at least recognize what it is and isn't.

Sai, regardless of what you wish to be true, the real truth is that it is but a TV show, and you are but a single person with an incorrect view of said show. Normally, one would accept the opinions of all, but I instead choose to seperate yours from the group and denounce your false claims outright.

You do not know what you are talking about. It is a children's program that you do not even watch. If you do watch it, then I am appalled that you know so little about it, having made such claims with such confidence.

You are either blind, a troll, or just plain dumb. Not only do the ponies in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" match what defines #3 on the scale as #3, they look like it as well. Note the lack of clothing. They do, in fact, wear clothing on occasion. The degree and style are dependant on the occasion or episode, but it exists nonetheless. Note the hands on the #3 furry. It has fingers, leading the viewer to believe that it can grasp objects. Note that horses do not have fingers, but rather, hooves. If the ponies in this show had fingers, they'd be labeled as #2's most likely. However, they can still hold objects and use tools, indicating a humanoid level of environmental interaction that would only be found in those that have finger-like appendages. But, since they do not have fingers in the first place, or even digits for that matter, then the writers resort to a powerpuff girls-esque means of object manipulation.

Characteristics they share with humans that are not replicatable in a normal nature setting:

Fully developed speech.

The ability to construct full buildings on a level that mirrors that of humans.

The ability to make clothing that requires stitching, or any other form of advanced fabrication that is anything but a leaf or piece of leather that you strap on.

The use of/exploitation of various sciences and medicines that are beyond simply eating an insect or leaf that cures stomach ache.

Bound, constructed, processed books with paper pages and manufactured ink, used to write characters (symbols) that are recognized worldwide as a written language.






Therefore and thusly, they are categorized as 3, according to the furry chart.

You can have a cartoon fox talk like a human, but that changes nothing on my opinion on its placement on the chart.
