| So I'm just putting this here because I'll be completing a few games of Civilization V with Washington of America and posting all the critical elements here just for fucks sake. I use Washington because he's got an amazing ability, and he has great mid to late game power. | |

| Washington D.C. Founded. So begins the campaign of Washington. A recently explored ruin near Washington provided 20 Culture allowing me a head start on my first Social Policy. Which was adopting Freedom. Liberty provides +1 culture in all cities and +2 culture in the capital. Adopting all policies in Liberty provides a free Great Person of your choice in the capital. - Spoiler:
Notes: My original thought was that this was a perfect spot to settle, plenty of Sugar to trade as well as two incense. To the south I saw some Banana's which give extra food and Spices which will give me an extra +4 happiness when I get them. Sadly that Salt is out of the range that Washington can control, however since it's a Luxury Resource, simply building a mine on it will still give me the +4 happiness and able to trade it. I will be unable to get the +2 food, +1 production, and +3 gold from it though, oh well. That culture bonus from the ruin really helped me out meaning i can adopt policies quicker and gain benefits faster.

| Discovered a place to settle a new city, New York. I wanted to place New York next to that Oasis since it will gain access to the Oasis early on providing +3 Food and +1 Gold and that hill which will provide +2 Production. However I was looking ahead and saw that I could not only gain access to another Oasis (+3 Food and +1 Gold) but also to Marble (+3 Production, +2 Gold, +4 Happiness), THREE Silver (+3 Production, +3 Gold, +4 Happiness [for having one Silver +1 Happiness from excess Silver]), a Gold (+3 Production, +3 Gold, +4 Happiness), some Sheep (+2 Food and +2 Production), and finally two Ivory (+2 Food, +1 Production, +3 Gold, +4 Happiness). All in all, a good spot to settle. - Spoiler:

| Not much to say except that I founded my second Policy in the Liberty Tree. Republic: +1 Production in every City and +5% Production in cities when constructing Buildings. I also discovered the City-State of Milan. Which provide +8 Culture when allies and +4 Culture when Friends. - Spoiler:
