Legend of the Orbs

Nero pulls out a pouch with 50 gold coins. then toses it to the elf. "i'm sure thier cursed, I havn't opened it yet so it shouldn't have affected me."

use detect magic

Zentaku catches the pack and says, "Thanks for that info I will be sure to cheeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
(throughout the entirety Nero sees a large amount of magic burst up around and consume Zentaku)
Zentaku drops the bag, falls to his knees, and clutches his head as he cries in pain. the lightning in his eyes begins to fluctuate violently actually pulsating out up to a few inches. then the pulsating lessens and his eyes revert to normal only now it seems to go beyond his irises and partly penetrate the pupils. His screams of pain turn to laughter. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! *inhale* AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! *inhale* AAAAAAHHHHahahahaha ha ha ha *inhale* hahaha, MWAHAHAHAHAHA hhhhaaaa!" He stands and speaks to himself looking at his hands, "I Understand so much more now... I, I can do so much more." he looks up...
(The Huge amount of magic seen dies down and Zentaku's magical aura returns to normal only it seems to be more powerful than before)
*ahem* "sorry about that I will check that bag and the coins immediately"
He picks up the bag as if nothing had happened.
(performs a spellcraft check on the bag followed by the contents if I do not find the bag to be dangerous)

Zentaku tosses the bag back to Nero saying, "It is a Bag of holding so you can hold more than normal in it, but besides for that the bag and it's contents are perfectly normal Nero. Now then how about that potion you were given earlier?"

Nero hands it over. "want to explaine what just happened?"

Zentaku looks over at Nero "Sure I would love too, but to be honest I do not fully know what happened myself. You see that has only happened once before in my life, and this one was a bit more powerful... The first time it happened on the day I discovered my magical powers. What happened was i saw some things that could never be explained and i suddenly understand my power further... I just gained a new power." Zentaku then smiles and returns his attention to the bottle.
performs a spellcraft check and sniffs the potion along with a small taste if it does not seem dangerous to further determine it's powers and properties

Zentaku hands Nero the Potion telling him, "The potion is fine as well, and as for it's use it can cure small wounds..." Zentaku continues now speaking to no one specific, "I am surprised that none of these were tricks or even tracking devises it is almost as if this pursuer wanted us to succeed in our quest... by the way that corpse we saw was the old man last night, that thing killed him after we went to sleep I could tell that much... But that just raises more questions. Why not kill us in our sleep or at least steal the Orb? Why give you that gold? Why give me this scroll? I am getting a real bad feeling about this quest we may be playing into our enemies hands."

"That's an easy one. she's helping us so we'll do all the work of gathering them then she can take them at one time and full fill what she needs." Nero places the Items back on his person. "that or she's fond of me..... damn mages."

Zentaku takes the Orb from his pack know and unwraps it enough that he can see it, but it is still held in the cloth so he isn't touching it as he does this he smiles and responds to Nero, "Well I do agree that IT is probably using us, but as for your attraction theory. Let us not forget that we don't know IT's gender after all we encountered IT both as the wench and the old man now."
performs a spellcraft check upon the Magical Orb of Water/Wisdome.

Zentaku looks intently into the cloth and states, "hhmmm very interesting... *Ahem* BY MY WILL I COMMAND YOU TRANSFORM!" the Orb glows a bit brighter then shrinks into a sapphire ring which Zentaku then puts on his right hand's ring finger saying, "anybody thirsty!?" Then Zentaku reaches out his arm for a moment and flicks his arm as an oasis bubbles up in front of the party. Zentaku then removes the sapphire ring and places it back into the cloth... the ring transforms back into an Orb. He then wraps up the Orb and places it back into his pack saying, "very interesting indeed i will need to study that more later... by the way we should get a drink from this oasis before continuing, also if you have any drink pouches I would suggest refilling them now.

"well if we have water my vote is to head towards the desert seeing as how were allready off track." Nero says looking toward the desert. "plus a bit of heat will do me well."

Zentaku currently drinking from the small oasis states, "*gurgle* yeah sounds *gurgle* great drink up though *gulp* before it gets all mucky *gurgle* It isn't bad then it just tastse funny *gulp*"

"i'm fine been though worse.... the heat's kinda refreshing really." Nero begins to walk off.

Zentaku lets out a refreshed *aaahhh*then gets up and follows Nero

Ajo comes out from behind a rock "Wut I miss? I had ta take a piss"

Zentaku says "There is water there drink up and follow fast."

Ajo drinks some of the water, then grabs a piece of cinnamon bread out of his beard "mmm, always carry some food in ma beard"

"That's a little wierd, but hey I guess yah can't complaine over a full meal." Nero says with a smile. "so what do we know about this thing we are fighting?"

"well..I know I hate it"

"I keep running though the lake situation in my head... it doesn't add up. I mean how could she get so close and not be noticed then allow us so easily to get the orb back. Alot of questions i'd liked answered when we get our hands on it." Nero says pounding his fist into his hand.

"Mabye she's a Lich queen? Useing..." Ajo shudders "MAgeek.."

"i'm with you on the magic part my stout friend... but a Lich i don't know, thier hasn't been a story in a wile about one in these parts."

Zentaku looks at Ajo curriously stating "... Ajo you are afraid of magic!? But surely you must have noticed by now that I am a Sorcerer? I mean my eyes alone are a dead give away and this cat is my familiar." finishes Zentaku as Cali hops out of Zentaku's pack and rubs against Ajo while purring.
