Post UnHonorable War

"They won't be able to follow... the path will be sealed... I can make large sheets of ice... it won't be easy to get through... but it will shatter like everything else if I die or pass out... even if they break through it most of the job will already be done if not all of it... and no Emir... you need me for your ammo remember you don't have much of a power without weapons... and I am the best out of the 3 of us for large scale combat without a weapon..."

"Of course," she mumbles. She looked down, as if ashamed. "I wouldn't let myself die over a few fears..."

Alevon laughs a little at Josh's last comment
"...no offense, but I think the situation up there would have gone a little differently had I not slowed time for everyone."

"but you can't do that for long... and acting alone is no good for you... and Emir will run out of ammo... with me at least we have a steady supply of ammo, and offence... we will just need to be more careful... besides it isn't just keeping them safe... it's keeping them from trying to follow... you can freeze them or slow them to hold them back... I just don't want her to have to go through this... do you want TK going through it? and she will get into it if anyone else stays behind... my walls can't stop her but you can by slowing her down..."

"...my time-slowing abilities slow bullets, without that, what will you do? Shoot them out of the air? No, even with my powers, it's iffy if I can do it."

Emir sighing. "At least you have somebody to worry about......all i got worried about is my own life, which is not much."

Alevon mutters so only Emir can hear him
"...and what of your feelings of Gabriella? What if she secretly feels the same of you?"

"I can make a sheet of ice to block their advance... and then.... another behind them... and... close it in... they will be crushed to death and it will be done..."

"That's pushing it, and you know it."

"Fat Chance." Emir spinning his revolver with his forefinger, muttering to Alevon. "Would you like me if you were in Gab's shoes?"

Muttering again
"...maybe she does...she may simply not want to because of how you act now...try being nicer...it'll get you a long way."

Muttering also.
"I can't do that....besides I experienced love already...it's painful and just to hard to take care of."

"Then give it another try, the experience is always different."

"Tough it out, TK..." Gabrielle whispers to her as she pats her back sympathetically. "Think of all the good things..." She pulled a small pack of tissues out from her back pocket and handed it to TK. "Here..."

"Wait what about Gabrielle Emir?" hearing a bit of their conversation but not enough to understand it yet.

"We're discussing how her shadow abilities would really help us in the next fight."

"Yea yea..." then muttering to him. "Uh-huh, trying love the 2nd time when the 1st time your love died from HIV 4 months ago....."

"I don't care there is no way she is going down there even if I have to ditch both of you and go alone to make sure of it."

Muttering
"...Emir, things happen. Out of our control. We need to move on...yes, it's hard...very hard sometimes, but if we dwell on the past...it destroys our future...you can't undo what's already been done..."

"I'm okay, TK," she said, this time self-assured. "Now it's time to convince Josh to let us go."

True to her word, she walked over to the icy guy and put a surprisingly in-character hand around his shoulder. She was smiling. "Hey! Let's go! You think I'm weak? I'll show you who's the weak one."

She turned her head to face Mike. "That's quite sad, Mike. But life with what you have, right?"
