Lover

Yeah, just a free verse, not my best work but I like the way it turned out. It's supposed to be uneven and it's not supposed to rhyme. Razz

If you read it out loud, I think it sounds better Razz

Lover

You make me want to write beautiful poetry,
and paint masterpieces,
and compose symphonies.

To capture this feeling, this moment,
and remember what it was like to feel this good.

Because you make the ever-present feelings
of loneliness and uselessness and despair
dissipate with your presence.

And even though I can only write clumsy rhymes,
draw stick figures,
and sing out of tune...

You still love me as much as I love you.

hmmm... I usually entitle mine something elegantly simple by the message that it gives... for this I think I would simply call it 'Lover' Embarassed

Er, if you were somebody like me (I tend to write long and dazzling titles), you'd name it after the general "mood" of the poem. Though I do that with stories I guess it's kinda hard to do it with a poem. xD
