Ok, so for English we have this "creative" assignment where have to pick a line from the Shakespearean play Macbeth and write a poem using each word from that line. Mine sucks though I thought I would share it =)
“False face must hide what the false heart doth know.” (I.vii.92).
False appearances are made every day,
Face what you’re feeling or put up a wall.
Must we always mask what we are thinking?
Hide your true intentions and see how difficult it is,
What we say we will do and what we actually do sometimes don’t work out.
The reasons we put up a front are all different,
False smiles can convince some, although not everyone can be fooled.
Heart, you know what we’re feeling even though we don’t show it.
Doth hiding behind a façade really make a difference?
Know that sooner or later it will still catch up to you.
