The Limits of Devotion

Conani wondered if there was anybody who was from the Trickery domain here. She guessed not, because generally they all seemed so blatantly obvious it was hard to imagine they were exalted. Instead she sighed and tossed an idea out. "We could just hide in a closet."

"He will definately fall for 5 people stuffed in a closet big enough for 0."

*Smax says lazily*: We need something to transform us... Nosoros can one of your little scrolls transform us into someone else?

Zentaku pry's up a floor board "I will hide here" He then climbs in and closes it so it looks like he isn't even there. "so does this work?"

Smax: I can see someones down there... and my eye's aren't even open...

thoughts: " (excited) lol he is funny... (demented) HE MOCKS US MAKE HIM PAY!!!... (emotionless) if we do will you shut up for 3 days?... (demented) sure I can work with that... (emotionless) okay do it... (childish) don't I get a say?... (demented) no... (emotionless) yes... (childish) just don't kill him okay?... (excited) okay guys since you have the majority I will go along..."

Zentaku: "haha you are funny and here is a present form another one of us..." Smax suddenly feels great fear overcome him (I used my power)

Smax: I was only letting you know so you don't get yourself killed because the floorboard is a little raised and don't make me stab through that floorboard!

Zentaku: "We know that but he agreed to shut up for three days if we quote punished you it was an offer we couldn't refuse... well I will get out now." *the board raises and he exits*

Smax: Whatever I still want to know about that scrolls

(smax probably still feels the fear for a few more moments )

Zentaku thoguhts: "(demented)...................... (emotionless) this is nice... (childish) yeah... (exited) is there anyway we can make this permanent?... (emotionless) that would be great..."

"Does anybody else have any better ideas? Perhaps one of your scrolls can help expand space--if that's possible." Conani scowled and kept her eye--and mind's eye--open for anything, anything at all.

She had not received any new alert from the mysterious voice in her head, but she still wondered what it was and why it targeted her precisely. It was unlike anything she had heard before; not a God, not her own thoughts, and not another person. This one seemed awfully inhuman.

Smax: Isn't ANYONE listening to me! *gets up starting to get angered* Nosoros! ANSWER ME!

"His name is Nosro," Conani said, a little agitated.

Smax: Fine

Zentaku: thoughts: " (childish) that is nice^^... (emotionless) what is the catch?... (exited) hmmm good point death domain hasn't been to friendly to us.... (demented) heh-heh...(emotionless) we will let that one go but next time it is another hour..."

Zetaku: "okay buddy what is the catch on this spell then?"

Zentaku: "Count me out then I know how spells outside our domain can mess up if we haven't perfected them and I don't want to take that chance... I will just hide in that closet over there."

"No thank you. I don't quite trust you despite everything that has gone on." He says, rolling out a scroll and activating it. "Poof" He said as he burned to ashes.

Zentaku walks into the closet and closes the door hiding in a corner and pulling a coat over myself

thoughts: "(excited) heh he won't find me here... (emotionless) unless he needs another coat...(childish) eep..."

Smax: Damn it... Nosros! Transform us!

"Have it your way." A voice said.
"Just don't move or say anything until he heals, or the bond will be broken." He adds as an arm-ish thing comes from the ashes and opens a scroll. It glows.
"Remember to lay down." He says before Smax, Conani, and Ven start burning.

Listening to the man's nervous thoughts, Conani sighed and clicked her tongue. She looked up to the ceiling and said rhetorically, "I wonder if he will check up there." She straightened her back and walked up the stairs self-consciously.
