The Limits of Devotion

Smax:... *grabs a mushroom and pops it into his mouth*

"Good, honesty, I like that," Conani barked. In truth, she was good at issuing commands and forcing her way of thinking on others. She was not good with the whole 'let's get together' thing she appeared to have suddenly been given as a role. And she did not respond well to orders, but that was another thing entirely.

She looked over to the basket of mushrooms and licked her lips, even though she tried not to. Blocking her mind on every nearby thought except the people in this room, she smiled and nodded dumbly.

Smax: You people have a place I can practice? *tilts head to the sword*

"You have a domain too? Well then I'm obliged." Nosro said, activating his scroll.
"Your mushroom spores will be ready for harvest in 2 hours. Assemble your men and get them working with whatever tools they have." He said, sitting down near a fire and rolling our some blank sheets.
"Have any paper? It will take a few hundred of these to arm everyone."

Conani narrowed her eyes. She recognized it as a domain tattoo, that was sure, and the nearest guess she could get was the Death domain. She thought it explained a lot. Why didn't he tell them earlier? And he had to be very powerful, at least as powerful as them, that was for sure.

"i think that each of us should practice the girl got stronger maybe the rest of us did as well."
Concentrating he summons an energy sword.

"Ahh yes, it would turn into a chaotic free for all. But what if he is caught in the chaotic free for all?" Nosro asked. He had the perfect way of doing this. It would cost the lives of about half the town, but-

"We are the dominant power."

Smax: too risky

"What are we risking? We would be alive, and this town can be governed by a proper king and rebuild itself without 99% Taxes. They wouldn't even be near us."

"Even though it is risky, I want to hear about his weaknesses." Conani looked at Nosro dubiously. She thought he was being irrational, but didn't need to voice her thoughts to anybody. Well, at least until one of them suddenly gained her abilities.

"Still want to know?"
Yes.
"Too bad for you." The slight buzzing of the voice disappeared entirely.

Conani bit the inside of her lip and convinced herself that it would be stupid to flip over something unknown, or her own imagination.

Zentaku: emotionlessly speaking, "hmm a fellow member of the death domain interesting..."

(thoughts: "(Childish) I hate this domain I miss jake *sob*... (exited) oh great he went all sad again... (demented) Awesome a fellow killing buddy let's show him ours!... (emotionless) no he needs not know of the tatoo on our-... (exited) I want to talk let me out!... (emotionless) no... (childish) I vote him he is funny *cheering up*... (demented) well he is better then you your so damn boring... (emotionless) no I keep us alive and fine it is the will of the whole so it shall be...")

Zentaku: speaking fast and happily while stretching now, "good to know I will take over for a bit now and I see we share the death domain buddy I like your symbol but mine looks way cooler!"

Zentaku: chuckling as he speaks now, "well good luck with that I can't use healing magic that well half the time it backfires and turns into something that exudes excruciating pain or death."
thoughts: "(childish) James *sob sob* JAMES!!! *constant weeping*"

"Then you don't do it." Nosro said.
"Sir, you are circletalking right now. You say you want food, but what for? You say the people will fight with stomachs, and say they will all harvest, but then say they won't. Keep this straight unless you want us to just leave."

Zentaku: speaking in a delightfully giddy tone "okay then lets just kill them all for some training that seems fun!"

Zentaku: still excited and happy, "no that is just the one of us I prefer a good fight or a party but we need training and I see a lot of easy targets that are already dead... although the fight doesn't have to be to the death it could just be a friendly match."

"I do believe that it'd be best if we did not engage in combat at the moment. We'd have plenty of the Pale Master to deal with," Conani stated sharply. She was certainly beginning to talk an awful lot. Not unlike under the ground, where she had everything made for her.

And another thing shook her. Up until now she hadn't been too concerned about it, but... what was left of her bloodline?

This might give us some info.
"We need a way to conceal ourselves until the Pale Master starts healing. In this room. Suggesting bedsheets will make you look stupid."

Smax: ... Whatever you guys decide I'm on for the ride *Sits down and puts feet up on the table* for now i shall sleep... *sleeps*
