The Limits of Devotion

"To the palace would be a better idea."

Conani nodded. She walked away from Zentaku nonchalantly, her way of saying she didn't need him to walk beside her. She thought palaces were nice places.

Zentaku, "Very well..." follows

Conani unconsciously slowed her pace so she would be behind her fellow companions. She didn't like devils, but surely she would have to fight her pride and just play along.

as Zentaku gets close to the Devil's with the group he does as would seem wise to him and he bows to the devils respectfully, inquiring, "Oh great ones may we be permitted to speak?"
thinking: "Risking over-flattery is far better than risking any fight at this point... and if it comes to it I do have my surprise for them (blades)"

Zentaku whispers to the his companions, "I think we should just walk away looking dejected..."
thinking: "Well no entry too bad guess we should head back to the pub and avoid this conflict."

Conani bit her lip and managed a very sweet, thick smile. "Oh please," her voice had a completely different atmosphere than when she was normally speaking. Almost enchanting, as if silently demanding. "We are not as weak as you think... And we wish to speak to the master of this palace..."

She told herself she'd never do that again.

Zentaku remains calm looking at them now without emotion without feeling at all just staring into their eyes.
thoughts: "I could kill these little twerps just one little step up to them and release the damn blades and they are dead... hey they aren't even undead I could just touch them and kill them just let me get in one good shot and they are both so dead"

"Nice." Nosro said, walking into the castle and making sure he looked professional.

Zentaku stays exactly one step behind Conani, and continues staring at the Devils without any emotion.

Conani shrugged and passed nonchalantly. She was beginning to get used to this, and she sneered in satisfaction to herself because of that. She had never had as much self-confidence as at that moment.

Zentaku follows behind her staying close by.

Nosro silently walked up the stairs, making sure his mask was well shaded by his hood.

Zentaku walks up the stairs two steps at a time.

Conani passed close to the Pit Fiend with the slightest bit of anticipation. She wondered who this 'Bel' joe was, and looked down the stairs curiously. "Nice... sculptures," she said out loud, without necessarily meaning to. She made a mental note to keep her comments to herself.

Nosro kept his hood up and his head slightly drooped down, putting his cloak's sleeves together and approaching this 'Bel' in a servile and somewhat mysterious manner. He didn't bother too much to look up and admire the architecture. After all, it was built by the unholy. It couldn't be very good.

Zentaku tells Norso as he is preparing to enter, "If you still have that Shinigami you took from me that could be used as a good bartering tool if needed." and walks in

Conani followed immediately without really much of a thought.
