The Limits of Devotion

something quickly shoots out of Zentaku's right hand smashes into the ground and retracts very quickly as he continues to move very unnaturally, fighting for control over his own body.

"Should I extract it now? The demon hasn't fully gotten to the inside yet." Nosro said.

(okay I guess Norso followed us)
Zentaku looks at Evangeline and begins speaking in an unknown language.

Conani's eyes snapped wide open in horror. She could decipher it through magic witohut even trying.

(Refer to the original powers of the Mind domain in the OOC.)

Zentaku finishes his speech towards Evangaline looking him(/her?) in the eyes and showing him his own death to come. Then he starts writhing around again.

"God didn't i say i'll go first." Said Ven getting angry.

Zentaku is rolling around on the ground now... he seems to be arguing with himself very violently and also threatening to kill everyone and also saying that he won't let himself do that... also everyone in the same room as him is feeling great fear (ability)...

"I'll do it." Nosro said, ignoring Zentaku and pretending nothing was happening.

Zentaku just continues rolling around in agony fighting for control.
(ummm tar... Zentaku is in a different area than everyone else... if Norso is there then he isn't with the group...)

Conani remained completely immobile even after her little episode of fright. She could limit the consequences of that fear ability she witnessed a few times before. She opened her eyelids slowly and looked up at Flint with her amazingly neutral expression she seemed to have mastered displaying.

"Do we have to do anything else, though?" Conani inquired half-heartedly. "I would say I have pretty much done whatever meditation there was to do." In case somebody was reading her mind, Conani had her surface thoughts repeat a phrase over and over again. I love apples, a warm fire and a blanket.

Zentaku's mind is in a state of turmoil as two powers fight for control

Conani pursed her lips. "Well, that's alright, I suppose." She closed her eyes again and relaxed. Quickly her mind let loose a few strands of information, mostly willingly, some because she was a little tired.

It traced back to her days of training. Her old master had been a red-haired woman with flowing curls who always wore a stern expression. She smiled briefly and the surface thoughts mirrored exactly the thoughts of her surroundings, down to the last critter.

Conani found it easier to concentrate with her eyes opened. She stared at Flint's face before her eyes lost their concentration.

It was a common misconception that those from the mind domain usually faint when they enter the mind of somebody more powerful than they, but that was one of the many defaults Conani had. She couldn't keep her mind at two places, which was why the other lost its balance. However, she was in a relatively stable position, and from afar nothing particular could be noticed.

She hit a brick wall.

Conani wondered briefly what the hell was going on before she realized he was guarding his mind. She didn't know how to act, but figured she could always improvise. She focused more, but no matter what she tried, she didn't seem to gain any progress.

Exasperated because this had never happened before--even if she had encountered people who blocked their mind from the others she could penetrate with a little more concentration--she went back to her ow body and realized she was squinting.

Nosro nodded his head and began with the left side of the library, taking out a book that particularly interested him on possessions of the natural elements. He sat down at a table with it and 3 other books, expecting to complete hours of reading with a small amount of information, given the current situation of this uprising.

Zentaku seeing the scroll yells "NO YOU WILL NOT IMPRISON ME AGAIN!!!" then within under a second some tentacle of darkness lunges from his right arm grabbing the scroll and pulling it into his hand where it turns to ash as he grabs it. This event distracting the Shinigami Zentaku hits his head into the ground cracking the floor as he says, "You. *bash head into ground it cracks more* do not *bash head into ground again and now has cracks reaching about 3 feet in every dirrection* control *bash head into ground again the ground as a few chunks lift up from the ground* me." *bashes his head into ground again then falls unconscious*

Zentaku says the following two things at the exact same time... making it sound very strange.
"Thank you for your help I won't fail."
"I will kill you and eat your soul mortal."

Zentaku punches himself in the face with his right hand falling over then a blade springs from his right arm which he hold to his throat silently arguing with the Shinigami.
