The Limits of Devotion

Zentaku smiles walking over to the counter and ordering her a drink.
thinks: "Thanks Conani, I feel a lot better knowing you are on my side here, and don't worry if anything happens I will protect you."

(oh well im catching up... barely XD))

Conani leaned on the tale and wondered about pointless things such as if her hair was messy or if her shirt wasn't too creased. On the other hand, she had devils and devoted followers and basically serious business to deal with that she didn't really care about in the current space and time.

Zetnaku walks back over to the table where Conani is with a beer for himself and one for Conani handing it to her he says, "Here you go Conani." as he takes a seat next to her.
thoughts: "Wow Conani sure looks great *mental image of kissing Conani*, wait a second she can hear my thoughts and that means I am sorry very sorry... that you can do this could work out well for teamwork at least but please forgive me..." Zentaku is Looking down at his beer blushing a lot right now.

(danger really doesn't bother this guy much so his mind is wondering to other things like his feelings )

"Cough* They're right here *Cough*"

Conani cleared her throat. "I have something to attend to." She had heard Nosro's thoughts. "You can come with me."

She took a sip of the beverage she had been given and went down into the cellar.

Zentaku stood up and followed her curiously.
Thinking: "Hmm that some kind of signal? oh well I would follow Conani anywhere... I really have to learn to keep those thoughts from the surface of my mind..."

Nosro stepped into the circle, hoping that this was not all just a planned ambush.

Zentaku, "Norso what is going on here?... is that another devoted?"

Smax also steps into the circle, still with his muscles set to attack on short notice

"Yes. Don't try anything stupid, death is just around the corner." Nosro said, walking to the people.

Conani also walked into the circle, her body as relaxed and undecipherable as when she had been taught. When she emerged on the other side, she immediately took a glance at the people and then focused at an empty space two inches below a corner of the said room.

Zentaku, "Damn it you won't kill them this day Norso!" Zentaku lunges through the portal trying to tackle Norso.

(he can't read minds and thinks he knows how Norso thinks somewhat.)

Conani's pupils dilated as she ran into Zentaku's way and stopped him. "He's with us, numbnuts." Conani realized with satisfaction that insults were her specialty.

Nosro spun around, but not in time to stop Zentaku. He was shoved to the ground, but managed to knee Zentaku in the stomach before that.

Getting up, he dusted off his robes and dropped his hood.

"Who said I was going to kill anyone?" Nosro asked.

Zentaku thinks: "ow that hurt... wait a second he isn't planning on killing everyone... and that kid over there is he like me"
Speaking as he stands up, "Sorry you seemed pretty eager to kill these guys the last time I saw you..." Zentaku turns looking at the child curiously, "Hmm? Child have you seen the Reaper as well?"

"Acting is nice, isn't it." Nosro remarked, sitting down and noticing everyone freeze upon Conani's arrival.

"Conani, what's wrong with you?"

Zentaku looks at the cowering child sympathetically, then seeing the others becomes confused at their fear.
thoughts: "Why is everyone so afraid of Conani no less... fear is bad it can lead to rash action...?"
Zentaku steps in front of Conani, between her and the others, faceing the others.

Conani looked with curiosity, her eyes still as dilated as before, at her soror, before blinking repeatedly. "What's this all about?" She laughed out load as she read their thoughts. "I am not a monster, at least last time I checked I wasn't."
