| Gabrielle blinked, as if in momentary shock, but was quick to recover and narrow her pupils again, displaying a sheepish smile. "Ah, okay then." She fully smiled. "Call me when you need me, I'll be with the others." Out of force of habit she touched Kate's hand as a means of 'see you later', something she practiced with people she treated as important to her.
She turned around and skipped over to TK's and Alevon's room. Noting the shouting, she sighed subtly and leaned on the door, as if she was eavesdropping. | |

I don't know her personally, but she goes beyond moral limits. That's why you kids were chosen as subjects.
"What they created was a very sloppy version of the 'Perfect Element', which was what made the Elements we know today. The old recipe was lost though, and the one now is highly unpredictable. This formula, when used on adults like normal, killed 9/10 of the patients instantly... The rest had a slow and painful death...
"One day though, our leader decided we would use it on children, but in the normal field. That way she could personally see physical, emotional, and physiological changes... Any questions so far?" Tyler asked grimly. It seemed as though the more he explained the more depressed he became. | |

"Anyway... They tested this upon a hundred kids of ages 1-17... Kids ages 1-7 died instantly, 8-10 died slowly... But past that was when they got it right... But that doesn't mean it wont cause harm. Your abilities work much like a virus, eating away at the body every time it is activated. The thing is, we also learned that children who over use their abilities sometimes gain an immunity to it, and survive, where as those who never used their abilities would survive as well. But... When I helped all of you you were all starting to use your abilities, so in order to protect you I had to try and push you to your limits.
