| At night. For some reason Gabrielle wanted to wish her former classmates goodbye before she went on her mission. Having finished her tasty food for more than half an hour now, she lay in her room waiting for Kate to call her. She smiled, thinking her abilities were finally being put to good use.
She turned around, being greeted by the usual shadow of herself, then amused herself by controlling her shadow's limbs without moving herself. She still hadn't mastered the uncanny fever she got after use of her abilities, but figured the only way to control it was to invoke it.
And then Gabrielle scowled and walked out of her room, thinking something was a bit amiss, craving to manipulate shadows once more. She looked at her umbra reflection on the floor, sighed, and walked towards Alevon's room.
She knocked lightly, for fear that she might wake them up if they were sleeping. | |
