| Gabrielle nodded, showing her teeth for a moment as she and her alter copy walked towards the stairs.
She sighed. In the moonlight her shadow appeared to be nonexistent. "You know, I've been wondering. About Jill. Apparently she can copy any ability." She seemed to be in deep thought, as she was recalling an event that happened in the van, several days ago.
"I think that my evolution could have taken a different turn," she changed the subject to herself without seeming to be off-topic. "I can copy the abilities of others, although it's on a very degraded scale. I think that since Jill can do that similarly, her evolution took a different approach to her powers."
That idea was accompanied by a question. "Do you know what Jill's power is? Is it umbrakinesis?" | |
