Post UnHonorable War

"Heard what?" Gabrielle asked.

She abandoned her question and took on an uncertain tone. "I'd like to have the Pit Fiend data, Tim. I'd also ask that during this short period of time you act as if you don't know Mike, and Mike acts as if he doesn't know you." Gabrielle wondered about all the other potential comments and insults she could throw their way, but finally resigned the idea of taking too much space in the group. "It'd be convenient. For now," she added hastily.

Josh simply says, "Well Gab I don't much care for you anymore either. Just glad I figured that out sooner than later but we can at least work together I assume." Josh continues sighs, "Well I wonder how everyone back at the base is doing..."

"You don't have to say that with that face," Gabrielle replied between her teeth. She gave a nice skip forward, four feet at best ahead of the group but enough for her back to impose silence. Another wolfish dog appeared out of thin air, and now they were walking beside her legs, coiling around them, giving provocative yawns.

Something brushed past the feet of those in the group. It turned out to be just another dog as it disappeared as soon as it appeared.

Saul looks away to the right and stares for several minutes finally he says, "I tend to like to work alone, be alone, and when I'm around others i shut them out because to me all they do is slow me down. But I guess these days I'm just going to have to deal with being around others." He looks at Alevon and smiles and says in a joking sort of way, "As long as you don't slow me down."

josh kicked the shadow dog as it brushed passed him muttering, "damn hell mut"

Gabrielle appeared to be stunned as she froze in place and, moments later, rubbed her shoulder.

"well lets change the subject." Josh comments putting his hands behind his head his elbows out and walking nonchalantly, "So when this crazy stuff is over and we are all cured what are you gonna do? I personally am thinking about finding someone and maybe starting a family eventually... probably go live someplace nice... hey if it is cold I can just make my own house."

Alevon twitches as he stands up
"...you know what? You're all just a bunch of childish brats."

Alevon glides his eyes through the group
"...Gabrielle, with your prissy self-righteous attitude, acting like you know whats best for us all and displaying your puppets constantly as if to what, show off? Threaten? Display your dominance?"

Alevon looks at Josh
"...Josh, with your inability to be understanding of how things are, I mean jeez, Gabrielle is polygamous, so what?! You're going to just drop her entirely because of it? Not even try to understand? Just give up? ....you can't even understand why you died, let alone learn from it..."

Alevon turns to Emir
"...Emir, what the heck is even your problem?! All grave and riddled with hidden emotion, constantly trying to make yourself look cool or something...you complain about looooove and how it makes you siiiiick and how you want it soooo, but I've yet to see you try."

Alevon finally stops on Saul
"...and YOU, you little demon child...how dare you say that WE would be holding YOU back, thus far I've seen you do nothing but sit back and listen to your music while everyone else does the work for you! You selfish little waste of life!"

Alevon glances at TK
"...TK appears to be the only one who ISN'T a liability!"

...you know they're gonna point out your love for her and use it against you?

...I already anticipated it.

Gabrielle sighed and shrugged. A conformity of her rarely observed without the observation of teachers. "TK isn't perfect," she said. She was still digesting her own critiques. "I don't know, Alevon, but you seem to be replacing me in terms of self-righteousness."

Saul looks at Alevon angrily "I was only kidding around you stupid baby!"

"...call me what you will, but I've been contributing to the group far more, am I wrong? I've been dealing with your ridiculous emotional troubles, trying to be nice and helpful, and all the while being a decent contributor to the fighting. No, I don't try to be self-righteous, but it's bound to look that way."

Alevon looks at TK for a moment

"....she may not be perfect, but she's CERTAINLY alot more mature and self-sustaining than you people."

Alevon looks at Saul
"...then show that you're of use to us, you worthless little PUNK!"

Saul says staring straight into Alevon's eyes, "Better watch your back from now on. Because from here on out I guess were enemies since you obviously don't want to be friends. YOu have turned the hand of friendship to the fist of war."

Alevon raises his eyebrows
"...oh no, it's not like I didn't want to be friends with you, you're just a selfish little punk, that's all. You need to learn some manners, boy."


Alevon sits back down and rifles through his bag

Josh begins speaking in a calm and deathly cool voice, "Well Alevon from what I have seen your not as together as you want us all to think. I have noticed you arguing with yourself frequently as we have been traveling, you try to hide it but I see things. You have been manipulation situations this whole time to your own benefit, yes that may also help us but it is still for your own sake to protect yourself. Also I have seen you when your asleep you have some strange nightmares. You were trying to hide your emotions only days ago and now they are starting to drive you crazy I suspect at this point.... and as for TK, she has many problems of her own. For one she is constantly forgetting her Rod that she needs to live... also I know that you love her and I support that, but I can't help but feel because of that you are lashing out at anyone who tries to criticize her at all clouding your judgement. You my friend are far from perfect as are all of us... and if I wish to escape from the fighting then why shouldn't I be aloud that privilege from time to time... I will do what is needed when the time comes." Josh then simply smiles and says now in a kind of cheery voice, "Now then let us get past these imperfections shall we?"

Saul says snidely "Well I can certainly see that Alevon likes TK, but it might turn into a con. Who knows?"

Saul looks at Time concernedly "You ok Tim?"
