Fragility of the Mind

Alevon continues sweeping energy across the crowd, killing dozens at a time

Gabrielle shrieked the loudest shriek she ever heard herself muster, an inside scream the really chilled everybody around her. Lance grabbed her hand as they started running, both panting and screaming and shouting and asking questions in the confusion. Gabrielle was the first person to take any defensive action. She duplicated herself, which did not surprise Lance, and went on while her shadow copy stood there, keeping every murderous person at bay.

Lance himself was an Alpha, although not a powerful one. He could only watch as his girlfriend did all the hard work. "Isn't that Mike guy gonna come save you like... you said he would?" he managed to ask her.

"How am I supposed to know?" Sweat was beading on Gabrielle's pale face, making her seem like some ethereal banshee. "I'm more concerned about the others! TK! Ariel! Raine! Emir! Where the hell are you?" she cried out.

Raine felt deep in her soul that something was definately wrong. She stared up at Alevon and knew what she had to do.

Raine mustered all the strength she had and created a large portal, swallowing up everyone in a large radius around her. Her body gave a huge heave as they were taken to safety many blocks down from the concert.

Raine's head spun. She felt her head spinning and the world seemed to drop out from under her. She coughed up some blood, threw up a bit and slammed to the ground, motionless. She had never taken that many people through a portal at once, this had been her first time, and she wasn't physically or psychologically ready for it.

The world stayed black as Raine fell out of consciousness, still alive though, if barely.

"Ah Shit..." Emir muttered, getting out his revolver and sprinted to the stage, aiming his gun around the area.

TK would then be thrown to the stage, by an unseen force...driven up to he knees into the stage

Alevon turns to TK, his palms glowing a bright red as he is about to unleash a torrent of energy at her

Emir looked at Gabrielle and Lance and shot the murderer with 3 rounds, all going for its chest.

Alevon doubles over
"ACK!..."
his palms lose the glow...but before he falls over, his injuries heal and he spins around, looking for the attacker

Alevon turns on his suits sonar function, palms raised...a portal opens directly on TK, forcing her to teleport back to the unhonerable base

"Ah son of a bitch..." Emir said, reloading his revolver with explosive rounds. He aimed at Alevon and shot 3 times for his head.

Alevon panics for a moment, unable to see the target
"WHAT?!"

he reverses time to just before the suit ruptures and tries again

(and before the bullets hit, energy waves lash out and cut them from the air at least 20 feet away)
(btw, TK is back to the stage now)

Ariel cried out in anguish as she saw her friend collapse onto the ground.

"Shit, Raine, you've never taken that many people before!" she shouted. She picked up the unconscious girl and ran to safety, gently laying her on the ground. She then ran back to the concert area, desperately looking for her friends.

"TK! Gabrielle! Emir!" she yelled. She then noticed the giant bear attacking Gabrielle and her boyfriend. She gritted her teeth.

'Damn.'

She ran forward and saw Emir shooting at it, but it didn't hit the crazed animal. Time for something to blow up. She charged forward until she was close enough and blew one of its legs off, hoping that would stop it for a bit.

Yiaraw saw the girls running away and grabbed his 'brother and ran after them.
