| Somewhere in Colorado...
The destruction of the main Pit was a great event for those who knew of the Fiends. The people of the world deemed the area as a place of evil, and most would not step foot on that lone mountain range for the longest time. That is what this man thought as he looked upon the half destroyed mountain from the helicopter. He was a man in his late thirties, with a nice suit and dark skin. His face was straight as he looked at his allies in the helicopter. There were four other men with him, all of them treasure hunters. No one had ever thought to plunder the old base, until now...
The helicopter slowed as it landed near the middle of the rubble, all by the dark man's direction as they all stepped out of the helicopter. The area they were in was rather flat, but even he could feel the slight buzz of electronics pulsing nearby. The man was a cyberpath, and felt each of the guns that were once lethal, but now forever shut down. As they all got to the middle, the leader of the group stepped forward. He was quite the energetic man, and took pride in his earth manipulation. The man thrust his arm toward the middle of the clearing, an elevator being forced up out of the earth. It's been 10 years since this elevator was used, and now it requires use once again. Making things more difficult however, the geokinetic removed the old elevator to recreate his own of earth. Either way, they all stepped onto it and it slowly moved its way down. It was incredibly dark, with bits of broken glass still broken and embedded in the wall around them. As they got further down, it got darker, but that was quickly remedied by another one of the men, who begun to glow like a torch.
After a minute of travel they finally reached the bottom. At the bottom they saw an old trench ahead of them, most of it filled with rubble from the mountain. On both walls everyone could see the shattered canisters that were once here, all of them old and broken, the decaying humans inside the pods, even now.
"Wow... Creepy..." The glowing man whispered, but his voice still echoed throughout the large room. Ahead of them was the old hallway, and their next destination. It was time for another of his allies to work. He was a young psychokinetic who was incredibly powerful, and was able to easily lift everyone over the trench and rubble. The effort made the boy tired, but the leader did not care, they were getting closer. Impatient for results, the leader punched the rubble in the way, roughly shoving it into the walls. As everyone was walking through the dark man paused a moment as his thought for a moment. The data hidden behind these walls were destroyed... But long before that barbaric move... So the man continued forward with the group.
Within moments they were in the main room. More destroyed pods await them, as well as more rubble... Angered at the wait, the leader started throwing rocks aside at an amazing pace, lifting most all of the rubble up and aside, revealing the woman's chair. The leader was tiring, so they had to work fast. The dark man quickly got into the chair as the boy helped the leader into it as well. The dark man reached his mind into the machine as a grinding sound was heard, and the chair moved downward. The leader finished piling the rocks at the side so that they could get out afterwords, but the effort left him exhausted. The chair moved painfully slow, the ear piercing screech filling the room. Everyone grit their teeth in pain and held their ears, all except the dark man, who kept still and neutral.
Once they got to the bottom they were in a very small room, with blue lights still on. In the room were just three things; a desktop with a computer, a cabinet filled with well organized vials, and a steel pod. Everyone was confused, as they were promised a vault with treasures, but there were no other doors. But they knew better then to give up, everyone but the dark man got off the chair as they searched around, looking for a secret door. They found nothing.
The leader turned to the dark man in anger as he yelled,"You said we would find the Woman's treasures here, that we'd all be able to live comfortable with what we find here!" He would have crushed the dark man, but he was still exhausted, and the yelling didn't help.
The dark man just turned his head to him and looked at him straight in the eyes as he neutrally replied,"You did find her treasure, as it's all around you, and should live comfortably knowing you helped a great cause." Without another word, several guns opened from the ceiling, and fired upon everyone but the dark man, killing them all. As soon as that was done the man went straight for the computer, and plugged his flash drive in. Everything went according to plan. The drive would copy all data on this computer and delete it from the source, and the vials were to be sent for afterwords. The only thing that was different was the pod... In all his studies, there was never a pod mentioned. His mind reached for it anyway as he unlocked it, slowly opening the pod. It slid perfectly, no rusty joints heard. But, as it opened the man realized what it was, and began to shake in fear, and excitement. In the pod was a little girl, carefully floating in life sustaining liquids. During this trip he knew he would find something of great value that would help their cause, but this single gift defeats it all.
The little girl, was the Woman.
At the Main UnHonorable Base
Kate walked the halls this day, her head hung low as she saw people happily working. Today was the 10th Anniversary of the destruction of the Pits. Most people felt happy this day, and spent the day partying with friends and family, but Kate did not feel the same as she thought of all who had to die to get this far. Still, Kate was happy to know that the lives of the bravest children she ever met were continuing, and that they had the strength to wake up each morning. It was amazing... Yet despite it all, she still missed them all. With the party that Mike decided to hold at the base, she had hoped they would come, but understood if they didn't. After all, everyone must go on with their lives. So she sat now at the front of the base, greeting those who once lived in this base, smiling at each and every one of them. But on the inside, the smile was merely a mask that she wore... But, now was not a day of sorrow, but a day of celebration, so she quickly cleared her thoughts of negative feelings, and greeted all the people she once helped.
Somewhere in Kansas
Akihiro sat on the couch, a cooked turkey in his hands as he sloppily ate it and watched TV. He was alone at the moment, with Tyler and Angela at the hospital and the kids out doing what they want. They were going to be here today to see Angela's new legs and eat dinner, but he didn't mind that much. He's grown to really like his nieces and nephew, and couldn't wait to see them once more. He wondered what they were up to lately, but didn't want to spend the time learning how to send a letter or use a cellphone. After all, Tyler usually talks about these things. Angela and Tyler were really the only people he spent time with, considering his form he was trapped in. But he was more or less happy, as this also meant he was excluded from working and got payment from the government for being a Pit survivor. It wasn't much of course, but it bought him food. But he had to admit, he couldn't wait to show off his english to them, as he has greatly improved. For his own self interest of course... Yeah...

| Joshua woke up again in his small apartment Somewhere in Minnesota, "ugh... today is that day again... the day the fighting ended... when everything ended." He pushed himself out of bed and took a shower then dressed himself, "I wonder what the others are doing... probably something important."
He went to his fridge looking for something to eat for breakfast, "....okay... I guess I'll make a sammich..." He made a turkey sandwich and ate it.
As he left he grabbed a beer from the fridge and locked his door. He went to his small shop down the street wondering if there was an order there today. Checking his messages he found nothing new on the answering machine and looked around sighing. He held up a card he had received a while ago, "an invitation to a celebration for this day?... I guess I got nothing else to do."
He walked out of his shop turning the sign to closed and locking the door. He looked up and down the street sighing as he crouched down, "...This should only be about a two hour trip..." He threw is empty beer bottle in the air as it landed in a trash can. With that he launched into the air and switched direction after going above the cloud cover, heading for the Unhonorables base.

| Gabrielle Goussand was afraid to disappoint.
From the beginning to the end, she was always afraid of going to places she did not know, places that incited a sense of helplessness and loneliness that came from the very core of her heart and ate away at her conscience until not even a bit remained. Her heart was rotten, she knew that much. But Gabrielle absolutely dreaded going back to places she had been to, places that had once been her home and the home of so many of her friends. Maybe she was just masochistic, she didn't know--but the UnHonorables base, a place she had deserted almost eight years ago, seemed so distant and yet so grand in her mind that, somehow, she had to find her way there.
Gabrielle was twenty-four. She had turned fourteen during the struggle, but nobody seemed to bother, so she never brought it up, even years after it was done with. As she went out of the cab smelling like somebody had had a couple of good trips in there, she handed the driver a generous tip and hauled out a single bag of luggage.
She still smelled like strawberries from the perfume she had put on earlier that morning. For some reason, even though she lived in the same state, she never bothered to show up and say hello beforehand. She was afraid, after all. Of their cold, concerned gazes. A midriff-revealing black shirt and low-rise jeans hugging her figure attractively, she still didn't know why she stuck to silly trends. but Gabrielle didn't get out of the bad, middle-schooler habit. She looked good.
Slowly, she tread on the soft grass towards the base. Once she saw the building, she felt a feeling of lightheadedness overcome her, but she kept her cool, and went on. She passed a hand through her newly cut hair (fashionable once again) as she put her other on the cool steel trap door.
Slowly, she gave two clear knocks on it, before pulling the handle open. As she went down the stairs and entered the main section, she pulled another steel door open, feeling her cheeks cool down in an uncanny way. She caught her breath and then called out, in horror to hearing her voice breaking, "Does anybody remember me?"

| Joshua landed seeing Gabrielle walk in and followed behind her. Hearing what she asked he shrugged, "yeah, I remember you Gabrielle... do you happen to remember me?" | |

| Emir was in his bed, sleeping in Kansas. He got the invitation already and was always glad to come back. So he decided to take a nap, since he had desk duty in his police station, then on his way to the Base. His room, wall and floor, covered with papers, pictures and books. He generally like to gather information into large abundance and forget most of it in later time. a desk that is completely clean from papers and sorts, was a small chest and his Revolver, almost big as a rifle and glowed black from the lamp.
Emir woke up slowly, tired still and began to go to his desk, then doze off to sleep. He was too tired unless some dire situation came into play.

| "Yes Gabrielle, I remember you." Kate replied from a chair that was set a little ways from the door. She was still in her armor, and aside from a few new dents and scratches, as well as some destroyed feathers, she hadn't aged a day,"I'm glad you could come as well Joshua." She sounded happy, but tired at the same time... You couldn't see her eyes, so it was hard to say what she was thinking. | |

| He finally woke up completely, going to his closet to get his usual clothes: grey suit jacket, grey matching pants, a red shirt and white loafers. After getting dressed, he step out of his room, patting his flat top hair cut and rubbing his beard. He began to walk to see Akihiro on the couch.
"Hey, Aki." Waving at him.

| Gabrielle's eyes focused on the floor, suddenly embarassed to having that be the first thing she's uttered in the base for a long while. She glanced at Josh, then at Kate, her eyes welling up with hot tears. She bit her lower lip, but couldn't say anything else. This was silly. She fought the tears back and properly turned back to Josh. "Of course I do," she said softly. "Very much." She turned her head away and edged closer to him, finally opening her arms for a hug. | |

| Car "Well, your sis is getting her new legs today. After that I think we're all heading to the reunion." He replied, though he did sometimes trip over a word or two, but he was doing a lot better then normal.
Base "I'm so glad both of you could make it though. Please, sit down. We have much to talk about. It's been quite a long time after all." Kate replied, putting on her best smile.

| "Hmmmmm, I'll like to go to Angela first...." Emir pondering, rubbing his beard. "It won't be long anyways, I'll be right back." Emir walking back to his room, getting his revolver and putting it in his suit jacket.
"So you're coming too Ak?" Emir asked, patting his sleeves of his jacket then looking at him.

| "Angela is coming here Emir. TK should be here too. After we all eat we'll all head over. Yes, even me." Akihiro replied, finishing the turkey and wiping his claws on the couch. He always did this when Tyler wasn't around, as he absolutely hated it. | |

Base "Likewise." Kate replied, nodding at him,"So, what have you been doing with your life Josh?"

| Josh sighs, "Well, I looked for any trace of the pits, and couldn't find any... I made a castle of ice far to the north... I think it is still in tact... and I settled down, opening up an ice-sculpture shop. I can make them better, and more intricate than any competitor, for a fraction of the cost... so business is well." | |

| Car Akihiro catches them as he replies,"So long as you grab food when I ask I can listen to you perform Romeo and Juliet in front of me." Akihiro swallows one of the hotdogs whole, smiling at the taste.
Base "I see. So you're happy doing what you're doing?" Kate asked, looking at him seriously.

| Gabrielle stared at the joint for a long time, and pursed her lips. "Got over a drug addiction. Been wasting my life away, day by day, although I'm pretty happy, I suppose. It was better than back in France." Gabrielle paused to frown, and took a seat in front of Kate. "I, ah, screwed up pretty badly, but I don't regret most things." she gazed in a sport a few inches shy of Kate's face with melancholy. It was obvious she was uncomfortable.
