he concept of "trade" has been around since the beginning of time. You want this thing that I have, and I want that thing that you have, so let's exchange. With trade comes the concept of supply and demand. I have a demand for something, and someone else has a supply of the product which I have a demand for. This is basic human nature, and it is the basis of Capitalism. This is ingrained in our DNA, the survival of the fittist mentality that one needs to do what he can in order to survive and prolong the well being of his family. Socialism is a new-age ideology which calls on man to look out for one another, to share everything so that there is no separation of society into classes consisting of rich, medium, and poor. However, despite how good the latter ideology is, it can only exist in a perfect world, because ingrained in our DNA also, is imperfection. We can never be a society that completely works just for the sake of keeping the well being for one another, because of the human element. Also, the resources run out in Communist countries faster than they do in capitalist countries because in communist systems there is no room for error and it is a closed environment. When they run out of product x, they cannot trade with another country to get more of that product, because that is not allowed. In capitalism, there is always a demand, and there is always a supplier. When there is a demand and no supply, there is a vacuum that is always filled by those who wish to make a profit, always.
Don't mind this, just posting it so I don't forget it.
