The Limits of Devotion

"zentaku is right, death is the final escape but you should not seek it merely accept it."
Thought: every one down there was too weak to accept death and they suffered for it

Zentaku: "Indeed when your time has come it all shall end..." his voice cracks and ther is a distinct sad emotion, "and until then you live in your own suffering. *sob*..." (thought: no you don't control you weak one!) once again emotionless as usual "...Ahem. Sorry about that." (thought: why did it have to be James!?... it was his time now silence... his death was so delightfully horrid... *sob*....")

Conani couldn't help but shiver as she intruded into Zentaku's mind. This wasn't voluntary. It was a good thing to have up your sleeve, but not when you're eavesdropping on somebody's conscience! All she could tell was that Zentaku was mentally deranged. She sniffed and looked straight towards Zentaku, then decided against saying anything.

She wondered how she could stop listening, but supposed it would be okay this way. Keeping a track of things. She was only unsure if this drained any of her energy.

((Town please.))

Nosro kept walking, listening to the voices like a Bible.
"This society is rather... bland for my liking."
"Hah! For your liking. Everything y-.... fun!"

He looks at the town.

Zentaku saw her glance at him and she is assulted with the following blurbs of thought, "She looked at us funny kill her!... I said shut up we aren't letting you kill any of them... *sniff* is she scared of me *sniff*... aww come on stop making him cry guys...maybe she wants to talk lets go speak with her maybe she knows something we don't... Yeah and she looks kinda cute too ... *sniff, sniff* maybe she would be my friend?... come on guys here me out we just kill one of them please... NO she can be of use to us!,NO! she is cute!, *sniff* No I wanna friend!... fine you idiots but don't come crying to me when we haven't killed anything for a week..."
Zentaku walks over to Conani and speaks in a cold emotionless voice, "you want something?"

(jesus christ! cant you guys wait for a fellow rper to catch up!?)

"Of course the people to survive are all crazy." He starts laughing
Thought: The crazy ones usually are survivors. The thought made him laugh harder.

Nosro stopped.
"Keep your guard up, these people aren't used to newcomers." He whispered, rolling out a scroll.
"Do you speak this language!?" He shouted to them.

Zentaku walks up to a random guy without saying a word, (thoughts: "kill them all and drain their life they are weak! (three voices at once) SHUT UP YOU!!!... (back to separate voices) I say we ask him to be our friend... I don't care doesn't look like anyone here is up for a party or anything so I will leave it to you guys... We are getting information and that is final no friends and no killing unless necessary.")
Zentaku: detatched and emotionless voice still "Hello there what happened?"

Nosro walked forward.

"Serfs! Peasants! We must be the dominant power." The accented voice remarked.
"One who wishes to enslave others enslaves himself."
"Perhaps more interesting alter... pursued."

"Do you speak this language? Anybody?"

Conani blinked and digested the new information, then replied to Zentaku quietly, not immediately after his own question. "It's not a 'want', exactly... Are you okay?" She turned her head to face elsewhere.

"Their souls are as dead as the ones on the ground so stop they won't answer you."

"DOMINANT POW-"
Nosro knew that he needed to get the attentions of these people.

He activated a scroll, as it glowed, a spirit in the form of a faceless angel emerged, shedding light and fire. A non-burning flame swept by the people, streaking through the air.

"Does anybody SPEAK THIS LANGUAGE!?" The spirit asked with an accented voice.

The spirit receded back into the scroll, and Nosro headed to the inn. He didn't trust whatever it was. These people seemed quite odd, even if they were culturally different, and this lone exception of a building and lone exception of a person were quite peculiar.

Zentaku: (thoughts: (four voices at once) "no use they don't listen oh well" (back to seperate) "hmm she want's to know of us why?... She does want to be our friend yeah!... wow you haven't been happy in quit some time and I share your sentiments she is cute as well ... I say kill her she wants to know too much... NO YOU DON'T HURT MY NEW FRIEND GO AWAY!!!!... well well this is odd you haven't been this spirited in a long time have you... uh guys I know I am the last to say something that is serious but she is starting to stare we should respond before she sees our face... OH SHIT ANSWER DAMN IT I DON'T WANT TO SCARE MY NEW FRIEND!... let her fear she should fear her demise... NO YOU DON'T HURT HER!!!")
Zentaku:emotionlessly ".... I... I am fine why do you ask?... " suddenly in a cheery voice as he grasps her hands happily, "Do you want to be my friend!?"
("what the hell!? how did he get controll!?... hahaha he likes her too hahaha... he should kill her not be her friend... SHUT UP SHE IS MY FRIEND YOU DON'T HURT MY FRIENDS GOT THAT!")

I wonder what destroyed this town could be dangerous we should watch out could get killed,
whatever. walks toward the inn.

Nosro glanced back, then continued forward.

How odd.

He wondered what domain the girl was in, as she seemed more disturbed than anyone else, and didn't know if the disturbia was generated from Zentaku or the people. Probably Zentaku.

*follows the group in*

Zentaku skips happily into the inn with Conani eagerly awaiting her response.
(thoughts: "friend friend friend gonna get a friend!... well at least he is happy this is unusualy... Great so none of you let me kill anyone you all suck... perhaps you said that a bit to forwardly... Nu-uh she want's to be my friend you are all just jealous *pout*... we are you... lol")
