The Limits of Devotion

Conani gave a sideways smile, and began to walk away. Then she came back. She told herself, what the heck. She leaned over to the child and hugged him. She did the same with the teen, and then she shook the puppet's hand. She did not go anywhere near the fourth figure, and then faded away.

She was welcomed back to where she was before with a loud thunk! Conani realized she had somewhat lost her balance and fallen, and quickly got back to her feet, dusting herself and trying to act as if it didn't just happen.

"Well, we should probably find the inkeeper." Nosro said.

((I'll be gone whole day tomorrow, so let's just say I'm crafting scrolls.))

Smax: >_> hmph having to slave to someone like you no wonder he left when you joined us he wants a better life

"Where's the next city?" Nosro asked, packing up the scrolls he made and getting ready to leave.

"Wait what he's dead what do you mean."

"Well to bad, so whats for breakfast."

Smax: Hahaha

"Okay, wait are they the kind that make you see hallucinate?"

Smax: ...

"I hope they are those ones are always fun."

Smax: Shroom addict *says to self* grand...

"Is there anything other than mushrooms?" Conani asked. Then she revised her question. "Have you ever eaten anything else?"

"If you will not aid me, I will." Nosro said, pickinG up the head and going outside to meet the silent masses.
"This is the now harmless pale master. Now who can talk?"

"I've had barbecued spider that's kinda tasty."

Smax: THE IDIOT! *stomps out the door with him*

to Nosro: Damn it boy never go anywhere without someone to protect you!

"Uh, seeing as he's five years older," Conani started awkwardly. "I think he can protect himself pretty well on his own. He's... you know..."

Nosro turned and put on an emotionless look.
"I'm 2 feet from the inn with an arsenal of scrolls making contact with a population where half the people are not sentient. The situation is quite under control, thank you."

((sorry went to sleep about 12 hours ago because of lack of sleep and just woke up now *yahn* man that was nice well good thing you left my mind Hinaoki ))

Zentaku has been sitting in a chair just watching this whole time as if he was just a lifeless corpse (puppet is in control as usual ) he speaks emotionlessly once more, "Norso Shall be fine if they try anything then we may crush them... and the display of power may get the attention of the devils who then may offer to employ us, and we just have to be extremely careful of our terms of service with them... I mean that is the plan right? get on the side of the devils so that we have some allies in this land right?" He seems to be asking Conani more than anyone else.

Conani nodded immediately as she looked through the tavern door, appearing to not be in any mood whatsoever to ever leave this enclosed space. Even Conani was aware this was silly.

Zentaku seeing her worried look towards the outside walks over to Conani and puts hugging her and saying in a caring voice quietly so no one else can hear (recognized as the teen from inside his mind), "it'll be okay Conani I will protect you outside."
