Suddenly a night elf leaps from a tree with a cloth in hand screaming at the top of his lungs "THE ORB!!!"
He quickly throws his cloth over the orb and wraps it up. Then he turns to the adventurer's, cloth covered orb in hand.
He has short dark purple colored hair, appears to be 17(human body), and is wearing some maneuverable travelers garb and you notice a sheathed katana at his side. He is svelte as well but his most dominant feature is his eye's they are crystal blue and look as if lightning is moving through the irises.
The night elf then states "THAT WOMAN WAS PROBABLY A DEITY, BUT SHE WILL SURELY BE BACK SOON! WE MUST GET OUT OF HERE QUICK FOLLOW ME NOW OR YOU MAY BE DEAD SOON!"
With that the elf turns and begins to run. He shouts back at the adventurers, "Hurry up I will explain everything when we get to a town!"

Nero sheaths his sword, picks up his knife and hurries to catch up. "well you could start by telling us why you covered it up"

The night elf calls back "If you touch the Orb it Releases powerful Demons!"

"Because she was a Deity no doubt! they are the only ones who are meant to posses The Orbs!"

"So i'm guess she could have contolled the power inside the orb then and us not being able to would have let the power free then. Am I getting this in any way shape or form?" Nero says now neck and neck with the elf bearly winded.

The group started nearing the town, a red glow seen in the distance. The smell of smoke starting to thicken in the air.

"Probably but i have only heard rumors about the demons in the orb but i don't want to risk it. Better safe then eaten by giant hell-beasts!"

"the towns on fire... it may be a trap. take the orb and find us after, hopfully we can kill her and be rid of one problem!" Nero then takes out his long sword and a trowing knife in his offhand charging for the city.

As you reach the town you notice that the inn was in flames, though it seems to be dying down as several wizards cast magic on it. The woman is nowhere to be seen. Someone is seen running toward you as he yells,"You! What were you men doing over there! Did you bring this curse upon us!"

"no i am a druid and these are basic warriors/assassins, we have no knowledge of curse magic, it was probily the damned wench who did this, she lied to us and the end resolt is a bunch of dead nympths, what the hell occured here? did you see anything out of the ordinary?"

"No but we fought what did. Alsa we seem to be too late is thier anything I can do?" Nero says closing in on the men.

"All that was told was a woman wearing a scarf came running past, next thing we knew the Inn was up in flames! Plus, why were you by the lake, it is strictly forbidden due to a dangerous artifact we were told to protect."

"damnit I knew we should have asked around the town... she paid us to retrive it but she doesn't have it. it is somewhere safe."

"You have the orb! Do you even- Ugh... No, you wouldn't... Where is the orb now." The man now stated as he is now quite about it.

"extremely safe." the elf has a look of fear... (he but it in his backpack while we ran) "It controls the waters right!?"

"If we're to discuss this I'd rather it be in my home, please, hurry." The man speed walks into his house, which looked to be the only large house in this town.

Nero follows inside and stands near the door awating the man's answer.

The man walks to a fireplace, a cold ember within it. He sits in his chair which was there as he sighed,"Might as well get in, this might take awhile."

the night elf sits next to the window constantly monitoring the outside with the curtain drawn, but still listening.

"Ugh... Well where to start... I'm just going to assume that none of you have heard the Legend of the Orbs, so I'll start from the beginning. Long ago there were 6 wizards of supreme power. They helped the people of this world in many ways, gaining our trust, bringing us hope against the evils in the world. But something happened, nobody knows what, but they turned on us. They started enslaving cities, killing women and children; every evil in the book they were said to commit. We thought all was lost, as nobody could stand up to them, or so we thought. A great hero came, with a powerful sword on his side that was said to be crafted from the gods themselves. Now, nobody knows how the fight came about, but everyone learned of the ending. This hero trapped each of these wizards in an orb and separated them all throughout the world, locked away and guarded so that none may use the power they still irradiate. The orb you have now is the Orb of the Never-Ending River or the Orb of Wisdom. It is a powerful weapon on its own, but it drains the wisdom of all who use it." The man then pauses at this point as he uses his flint and steel to try and restart the fire, though his efforts were small."It's said that once an orb is released that pain and suffering will come upon the world once more, the wizards final curse to the planet. The only way to stop this is to destroy the orbs using the same weapon that was used in the legends. But that in itself is also a challenge... As all orbs must be collected on an alter far in the east..."
