"hmm this tree hugger would be a hasle for you, and ime more of the animal branch of druid not the branch that deals with other natural elements, anyways i would stay on guard these nympths could be a hasle so i have devised a plan to keep us from geting bewitched, sure the potion may work but this is a added percaution, i will locate a bee hive and we will put wax in are ears, if these things are anything like sirens they may use sound to get to us so if we empare that ability it furthers are chances of not geting are minds put into the gutter, that and if any of us do become bewitched we can smack them into reality hopefully"

Valefor looked upon the group, unswayed by their talk. But now was time for action. So as the group conversed Valefor slipped away towards the lake, climbing into a tree nearest to the lake as he quietly observed his target.

As Valefor spied on the lake, he could see no nymphs. But he was able to spot something of interest. Near the middle of the lake there was a light blue glow penetrating the surface. The area is quite and the water was still. Quite strange for a lake, even stranger for a forest. Suddenly near the edge of the water the head of a nymph is seen coming from the water as she looked around as well. Her eyes seemed to pass by the tree you were in, when she stops. Both of your eyes are now locked, the nymph not breaking the stare. Finally she smiles and giggles where she was, several other nymphs coming up to see Valefor as well. They are all now beckoning for you, inviting you with open arms and a large smile. Strangely enough you are not blinded like the woman had said.

valefor sees his allie faro making contact with the enemy but before he can do anything... his head is grabed so that he cannot speak and feels a blade press to his throat. he hears his captor whisper in his ear, "don't panic or make a scene OK? now listen that wench offered you a pultry 1k for that orb right... well that orb is priceless you help me get it and we can split a gigantic fortune between just the 2 of us 50-50 k? oh and very important here whatever you do don't let anyone make physical contact with the orb or you are all as good as dead, so just wrap it in a cloth or something carefully k? hope you got all that whisper your response i will be listening nearbye." the glistening blade is removed from valefor's throat and this strange new person is nowhere to be seen when and if valefor looks.

The Nymphs looks over to Faro as they each giggle as well, all of them speaking amongst each other in native tongue. After awhile all of then sink into the water and one ancient looking nymph rises from the water."Greetings druid, what is it you are wanting to negotiate?"

Ajo laughs with a hardy grin "your....you donna wish to fight me? Hell If'n I didn't know any better I'd think you were scared to fight me" Ajo keeps laughing to himself as hes sits on a rock and calmly sharpens his axe.

Nero puts his hand on Ajo's sholder. "hey they might be right... there is alot of magic here.... some very old and powerful. allow me a try." Nero walks toward them a few steps and then stops. "I also do not wish a fight, but alas we were sent on this quest. Tho we have heard only one side of the story. how is it you accuiered this orb?" Nero says kindly.

"hmm this could be a dicy situation... but I can't remeber of any tales that I know about Nymphs were they don't himpnotize or try to kill people... i say we belive them and pay our employer a visit... and on onther note how did she aquire that much gold anyway?"

Suddenly an eruption of sorts was heard, the nymph looking behind her in terror."What! NO!" The nymph turns back at the group, fury in her face,"Do you have any idea what you've done! The world will-" The nymph was cut off, pain within the face. Suddenly the nymph falls into the water, disappearing within it. As fast as the nymph died the water started to drain, quickly. In a single moment only one thing could be seen at the bottom of the lake. It was the woman from the town, a sapphire blue orb resting in her outstretched hand. The orb was dripping with water.

Nero draws his long sword and rushes toawrd her. as he closes in he throws a throwing knife quickly and accuretly.

She quickly moves to the side as her other hand glows black. Her body falls into her own shadow as she starts to disappear. But before she could get away the knife strikes the orb as it falls from her hands. She claws at it furiously, but with no luck. She was gone. The orb now lays in the mud on the ground, glowing a steady blue.
