*Petra's arm finished healing and he had just enough energy to fly a safe distance from the battle, laying in a heap a few yards away.

((Wrong person.. I meant Soga.))

Soga no Iruka opened his mouth and sprayed a acid ooze on his spear, melting most of the metal and wood.
He rolled backward, charging at the Mongol with his dual blades, slashing and swinging.

The flying Oni looked at Petra and swooped downward with a curved-like blade suited for cutting off heads with ease.

*Petra's eye widened at the incoming attacker. Grabbing his sword, he aimed it up as the Oni moved in to attack him.

"And so you insist?" Lang asked, riding away while turning to fire arrows as the enemy who so futilly yet with such determination chased him. He aimed for the head, firing rapidly, knowing this would eventually kill the demon. His dogs scattered, watching the fight from a close distance while constantly scattering when the enemy was near.

The hungry ghosts saw new prey. They charged at Kichiru and his Ookami.
The female Oni was cut from chest to stomach, it fell backward to the ground as it vanished. Soga no Iruka tried to follow and chase the Mongol by foot, but was cut down by Izogoth. He fell to the ground, vanishing. Leaving his two glowing dual swords.
"復讐私の父...復讐私を..."
"Avenge me father...Avenge me..."

Ookumi bites the spirits and Kichirou shoots them with arrows.

Rushing to take the swords, Lang asked himself what he could do to turn them into a spear.

Lang looked at his former spear. The metal was melted clean off, however, the input hole stood. Ramming one of the sword hilts into it, he must have expanded the hole, as it took much strength to wedge the blades in there. Improvization. He sheathed the other blade and attached it to the leftside of his belt.

*Petra sat there, not believing his luck. As he allowed his wounds to heal, he licked his sword clean of the Oni's blood savoring the taste. He continued to watch the rest of the battle unfold.

The hungry ghosts were easily defeated, Soga no Iruka was no more...Like his grandfather.
A spirit formed from the blue glow of the blades.

"すごい迫力が...、ソニー、それを保持します。"
"Woah... hold it sonny." The spirit looked elderly, another spirit head was next to it.

"してください、あなたは私たちを傷つける行くのを止める！"
"Please stop, your going to hurt us!" The younger more childish spirit connected to the neck of the other spirit tried to talk the Mongol out and seperate the blades from the spear's input hole.

"Hello there strangers, It's nice to meet you." Kichirou said as he approached Izogoth and Lang.

"Thank you sir, I am in full accord with you." Lang said, stringing his bow and firing on the flying demon as his dogs barked loudly at it, one of them, an alpha male he used to fight for females from wild dogs and enlarge the pack even jumped on the horse temporarily. However, before firing, he reaimed at the young spirits.

"Get away!" He shouted.

*Petra continues the watch the outcome of the battle. Amused by the mortals. He emitted a loud cackle.

The female Oni bursted a bolt of lightning aiming at the ground near Lang's feet. While the other flying Onis began to point their sharp blades while swooping down at Izogoth.

"あなたは私たちが卑劣な武器を持って別してください！"
"Will you please seperate us with that vile weapon!"

"それは、あなた子供の戦士私の精神的本質を傷つけてよ！"
"It's hurting my spiritual essence, you childish warrior!" The two protested to be connected with the Spear.

"Sending the Dogs on me are you?" The demon mused. Fully restored, he grabbed his sword, lighting it with Fire. "C'mere doggies!"

"dang more still. " Kichirou said as he started firing at the flying demons.

Lang grunted, taking the blade out of the hole and dual-wielding them, charging at the Oni. The dogs barked before following Lang in his charge.

The swarm of the Flying Onis were decreasing, most of them fled away. The two glowing blades flew out of Lang's hands, and conjoined to a double-bladed spear, pushing back to Lang hoping he would grab and make a attack as the Oni rushed closer. The swooping Onis were ready to impale Izogoth with the pointing blades.

"急いで、獣が近づいている！"
"Hurry, the beast is approaching!"

"私は息子を知って、それは、協力だけでなく、この愚かな愚か者が！"
"I know son, it's just that this stupid fool isn't cooperating!"

Petra jumped to his feet, grasping his sword. Flying off into the swarm of Oni's, he started to swipe at them.

"Did I ever tell you two that I loved you?" He asked the spirits, grinning, even though the spirits couldn't see due to his helmet, grabbing the spear, he used its distance advantage to attempt to stab the oni first.
