魔界 Demon World: Ancient Japan: Volume 1

Goro opened the right chest of the second set, the first and second set vanish. Goro opened the right chest again in the final set, the set vanished aswell. The barriers vanish, the foreigners are pushed to a new puzzle.

They see three statues of Hiryu, One being Hiryu being decapitated by a swinging blade in the head. Two being him dying by a stomach stab. While the final third is him being eaten by demons.

"誰がこの男であり、どのように彼は本当に死ぬか？"
"Who is this man, and how did he really die?"

"He is Hiryu, and he was stabbed in the stomach and bled out." Lang recited.

The statues of Hiryu all moved to the side, a new puzzle was formed.
Three statues in a single line were in front of the foreigners by a 10 foot distance. One statue being the god of Wind, One statue being the god of the Underworld, One statue being the god of the Sun.

彼がそんなことを"誰が、人を殺したとその理由をしましたか？"
"Who killed the man, and why did he do such a thing?"

" Can you repeat the question? " Petra asked completely lost.

*Petra's face was blank.
"Um..... The god of sun killed the god of the underworld to have him rule there?" Petra guessed...

"太陽の神は飛を殺していない..神は、女神...風の神飛を殺していないが、彼は殺人...中に存在していなかったことリー- ..."
"The god of the sun did not kill Hiryu..For the god, was a goddess...The god of wind did not kill Hiryu, for he was not present during the murder...that lea-..." The voice was cut off.

The whole temple shook, pillars holding the room with the foreigner's inside fell, the room the foreigners were in was about to break and fall down, another room was straight ahead.

" Let's Go!!! "Petra shouted, grabbing his comrades and pulling them in the room.

Goro held on to Petra. Watching the statues break down including with the rest of the room. The doors opened, a white flash covered your eyes.

Minutes pass, the flash faded away. The foreigners are in a room similar-looking to the one from before. There was a gigantic statue holding a bowl filled with flame, the flame was the only light. The flame was a long distance away from the foreigners. Three skeletal-like chests appeared in front of the foreigners.

"ピックアップ飛または1日または1の下の神"
"Pick-Hiryu-or One-sun-or-one-under-god-"

Goro walked to the left chest. Nodding to his suggestion.

Petra moved to the remaining chest, ready on their cue.

A wave of impenetrable flame appeared, slowly chasing the foreigners from behind.
Goro quickly opened his, which was actually the right one. The chests vanish, leaving three more awaiting them.

"ピックアップ飛または1日または1の下の神"
"Pick-Hiryu-or One-sun-or-one-under-god-"

"More Chests?" Petra Wondered aloud.

Goro, feared out of his mind quickly opened the left chest. Fire spheres appeared coming from the bowl. The spheres flew in the direction of the foreigners, they stopped rolling as they hit the ground. Burning little beasts of fire appeared as they stood up. Fortunately, Goro's blunder actually saved the foreigners. The pattern broke completely, and they could outrun them.

*Petra dodged the beasts easily, and slid next to Goro.
"We need to get deeper in this Temple...it's a death trap."

*Looks at Goro
" You're gonna have to figure this out..." "I'm going to end up getting you guys killed."

Goro stopped and saw Hiryu's blade in the corner. He quickly grabbed it, seeing it as it was new. He was shocked, and continued to do the puzzle. Three statues were in front of Goro. One was Raijin, the Thunder God. Two was Susanoo, the God of the Sea, and Yomi, the God of the Underworld.

"誰が、誰を殺すためにやりたい、憎しみ、なぜあなたを殺すためにやりたいか、その人の...?"
"Who do you hate, Who do you want to kill,and why do you want to kill that person...?"

"第1は、..誰も嫌い...でも飛...私は黄泉を殺すなるために！"
"I...hate nobody...But for Hiryu...I will KILL YOU YOMI!"

The room began to collapse, a gigantic seal appeared breaking straight ahead of Goro. A gigantic gate with the ancient characters "黄泉" appears. The Throne of Yomi, was just up ahead. The flames extinguish, the pillars were falling down. Goro quickly evacuated and went inside the Gate.

*Petra watches his comrades go through the gate, staying behind.

The foreigners (Except Petra) are falling into nothingness. Souls of dead demons and spirits fall aswell in different distances. The foreigners fall down to a battleground shaped like a skull, flaming candle wax makes a circle surrounding the foreigners. The sound of a wind breezing is heard. The skies are dark, nothing is visible other then the blue flame of the candle wax. Two similar looking statues appear out of nowhere left and right of the foreigners.

"どのように典型的な...あなたは、愚か者は、実際にこれを作ったところ.."
"How typical...You fools actually made it this far.." A voice is heard somewhere in the skies.

"ふむ、トラブルを保存する...あなたは私の駒を覚えていればのを見てみよう。"
"Hm, to save the trouble...Let's see if you remember my pawns." The statues break, similar-looking warriors are summoned in the remains of the statue. They wield similar but not the same weapons as before.

Soga no Umako of the left wields a curved red blade, his eyes are glowing red.
Soga no Iruka of the right wields two glowing red blades, his eyes are glowing red.

"攻撃。"
"Attack." The two Soga warriors move swiftly around the foreigners, Umako opens his hand at the foreigners, his hand glowing blue. Ice pillars began to form, trying to trap them inside. Iruka leaps in the air on top of the foreigners, breaking the ice prison.
