Fragility of the Mind

Yia copied it before he turned it off and he closed his eyes and triggered the vision and opened his eyes and stepped back amazed as everything he saw was different. He looked around with the Thermal Vision. "This is cool!" Yia says happily he closed his eyes and turned it off then reopened them and his vision was the same. "Thanks!" Yia says to Alloy.

Ryan holds her back, feeling the air leave his lungs, knowing he may, and probably will, die

Yai followed Alloy interested in what ability he had. He wondered what it could be.

Yia watched him do it three times. "Can I try it?" Yia asks him.

Ryan gently pats TK on the back, he seems to be losing consciousness

Gabrielle went to change her clothes. The stuffy designer outfit was replaced by retail jeans and a shirt with the slogan 'Cleverly Disguised As A Responsible Adult'. She chortled to herself as she put on a thin jacket and bunched her hair at the back of her head with a barrette.

A few minutes later Gabrielle found herself in a cab, and a few minutes later she found herself at the side of the road in front of the base. She had to pass through the forest, but she had enjoyed it the first time, so Gab didn't really mind as she walked through the woody little road.

Coincidentially, she ended up walking into Raine's heroin trip. Gabrielle knew that she, personally, did not like being disturbed, so she assumed Raine did not, either. However, she couldn't resist stopping and asking her rather pointedly, "What are you high on now?"

Ryan slowly catches his breath and just lays there for a minute
...he finally says, quietly
"...why didn't you kill me?"

"I'll just lift it up once." Yia says crawling underneath and he lifts it up but only a little bit before he sets it down a little tired. "I need to get stronger..." Yia says looking at his arms, they didn't have much muscle on them. He looked down at his body, he was skinny and wasn't very muscular. "I'm a little twig aren't I?" Yia asks crawling out.

"I'm not...I'm only curious as to why you don't"
he says, staring at the sky

Raine had slumped to the ground in her trip, playing with the grass feebly and giggling to herself. When she heard someone approach she didn't even bother to look up but then she heard Gabrielle asking her what she was on and she couldn't resist saying her next sentence.

"Nothing you should care about, honey." She gave the woman a silly grin and went back to playing with the grass, feeling as if she was floating.

Ryan sits up
"I'm my own free man, I don't take orders anymore...I'm only here to help, not take orders."

He raises an eyebrow back
"...not worth it?"

Ryan rubs his goutee
"I see..."

He smiles slightly at TK's response

Gabrielle shrugged. "Alright," she said. "Good morning." She put her eyes back on the path as she left Raine do her thing. A part of her wanted to inject Raine with all the Naloxone she had in her bag, but she thought better of it. It was none of her business. Time to grow up, Gabs.
