Fragility of the Mind

Yia listened intently. "And your stowaway?" Yia asks when Alloy was done he looked at the door of the hangar where the man disappeared through.

Yia looked back at Alloy. "Wow someone that strong? What did you do?" He asks curiously.

Yia looked at him and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. Personally, I try to avoid having to fight, but I'll fight when the time comes." Yia says looking at his truck. "Your truck is pretty burnt up..." Yia says to him.

"We saw a massive fortress!" Yia says enthusiastically throwing his arms into the air. "It was flying in the air headed for Canada! And then Mike made the car fly! Then he left the car and it started to fall so I used a Portal to bring it down to the ground gently. Then I saw Mike fall like 200 feet! He made the ground shake and everything so I teleported to see if he was okay and guess what! He was laying in a crater! I couldn't believe he survived it!" Yia says happily letting his arms drop. "Then I teleported all the way back here... When I arrived at my room i fainted." Yia tells Alloy looking at him with a nervous face.

Suddenly perking her head with interest to TK, Gabrielle opened her mouth to say something, barely catching her number. Seeing her grin like that made her want to grin, too.

When TK was going away so quickly, she said, "Hey! What'd you and Kate talk about?"

"Yes, of course I do," Gabrielle said softly. She put her head down as if she was suddenly embarassed to admitting it, and began to examine her nail polish. She was pretty certain about what TK's wink meant.

Yia nodded. "Yeah I need to learn the limitations then try to see if I can start to extend those limitations." Yia yawns. "I haven't completely recovered yet..." Yia says looking at Alloy smiling.

Yia looked at it and opened it and bit into it a little bit. He didn't like the taste but he ate the rest and looked at Alloy. He didn't feel any different. (Or did he? XD)

*Still half asleep Dante said "Yea... Car flying, big drop, Yia portal...." He was leaning against the wall now. He could really go for a coffee.

"Nice to meet'cha," Raine smiled and it wasn't the most warm or inviting smile but then again she wasn't that warm and inviting herself. She pushed the rest of her food around her plate before asking Angelo, "Why exactly are you building this house here, by the way?"

"That's... That's awful," Gabrielle said after a long pause. "You have it worse than I do, and yet I'm the one who's crying their eyes out and hurting the younglings." Gabrielle didn't elaborate at first, but then she realized that just because she told Yia didn't mean TK knew about everything.

Gabrielle realized the words flowed much easier once they had come out before. "Basically we were driving when suddenly a large city flew over us. Yes, TK, a city. Well, fortress. It looked gigantic. Anyway, Mike started flying the car up in the air--I don't know how he does it--and disappeared inside the building to check which way it was heading. apparently it was heading for Canada, but Mike made one mistake; he left the car in the air.

"Anyway, we started falling down, and I freaked out, because, you know... You probably wouldn't remember when I told you guys about having been in a plane crash, like, a terrorist plane crash."

Gabrielle stopped for breath and looked down at her nails again. "Like I said, I flipped and kinda... dug my fingers into Yia's arm. It might not seem like a big deal, but I was really scared, and it just makes me upset I haven't gotten over... like, all that."
