| All of you... Were nothing more then an idea... A possibility. Some of you even an accident. But no matter the cause or the reason behind it, you have grown into more than just an idea. You are now a living being; a strong heart within your body... However, your heart is larger then most young... That is because you are a dragon. Whether this is a curse or a blessing, it is what you are, what you have been destined to become.
However... Most dragons don't get to always be born in a nest...
Of the first to break through their shell, they would notice a number of things. One, that they were finally free of their egg, the first few gulps of air finally entering their powerful lungs. However, they escaped their first prison, just to drop into another... Around them was a purple ring on energy on the ground, and if they were to near it, it would repel them. There were many other eggs in the room as well, forming a circle around an alter of sorts where a man in a black cloak stood. The cloak was midnight black, with deep purple lining. The hood was up completely, so you couldn't see his face. Outside of the circle of eggs though were people focused around each of the eggs, creating the barrier that held them in place...
Born only a few seconds ago, and already you're struggling to survive... Your life starts now, so you need to decide how you want to live it. | |

| The Adamantine dragon crawls up and out of it's shell, looking at each of the beings before it.
It is very cautious in motion, making slow and fluid movements | |

| The Amethyst dragon pokes its shining head out of its egg, savoring the feeling of breath flowing into its lungs. Truly, it was an invigorating sensation. Its front claws pull the rest of the eggshell's top apart, and it crawls into the outside world. It looked at its surroundings and the cloaked man with a feeling of anxiety (... These creatures... Aren't like me...). It took another look around, examining the purple barrier and the people surrounding the eggs of its kin. It slowly walked towards the purple barrier, and attempted to leap out of it, only to be pushed back and crash to the ground. It let out a low pitched screech as it rolled back in forth in pain. Slowly but surely, it stood back up. It knew it could not leave, and these people would not allow it. Its insides turned, as it felt boxed in... as if it were still imprisoned in its egg. | |

| The emerald dragon twists its slender head as it forces through it's shell, worn away by much effort. He took his first breaths, resting for a few seconds before forcing a front claw under his chin, gripping and pushing away another larger piece of shell. He stretched a little, causing the egg to tip and roll slighly, as he managed to free his other front claw and break more of the shell down. The structure of the shell was finally weak, and with a forceful press against the inside of the shell with his wings, his casing was broken into several chucks thrown in several directions. A few pieces of shell repelled off the barrier surrounding him as his wings stretched, dropping the remaining, more sticky shell pieces to the ground.
He looked up at his wings, filled with pride over seeing their length for the first time, before taking in his bleak surroundings. His head tilted his head with a flick towards the cloaked man, and he instinctually let out a mellow and low growl had came across more as an aggressive purr. Crouching down and digging his claws at the ground beneath him, he took a charging leap at the man, being instantly thrown back from the barrier. The low growl replayed as he rolled his shoulder in momentary pain and defeat. He snorted a short breath, that reverberated through the room like a short, high-pitched, yet hollow cough noise, before peering past the barrier at the other eggs, and the other hatchlings finding their own methods of examining their enclosures.
"What.. is.. this.. place?" He said aloud to himself, testing his vocal cords. His voice was calm and young, but seemed to bounce around the room from all directions and even collide into itself; though it was still relatively easy to tell his voice's source, it sounded like an echo trapped in an untapped vein of precious gems.

| The chromium dragon's egg shakes violently which falls to its side rolls for a bit before erupting throwing the shatterd pieces of the eggshell in all directions. The dragon shakes a little geting the miniscule amount of egg left off of him as he raised back on his hind legs while stretching his wings letting the small amount of light in the room refecting of his shiny smooth skin.
He then turned his head looking at his situation before he starts trying to claw at the ground beneath him. | |

| The Adamantine dragon, observing the rings' effects on the other dragons, decides not to test the ring. Instead, it arches up on it's hind legs, spreads it's wings out, and lets out a steamy, menacing hiss at the man.
It slowly lowers back onto it's feet, and backs up the farthest it can within the small space, fanning it's wings out around it as somewhat of a shield gesture. It peers through the gap between it's wings at the man with a deadly intensity.
All it knew was that it didn't know what was going on, and it didn't like it. | |

| The cloak man looked up from the alter, gazing around at all of the dragons that came out already as he chuckled; his deep and menacing voice not only going through the room, but seeming to go through you...
"Ahhh... My subjects have awakened... How wonderful..." He started chuckling once more as he started to walk towards the Emerald Wyrmling, pushing his face as close as he could to the barrier. The dragon still could not see past the darkness of the mask, even with his enhanced eyes.
"This place? This place... Well, I guess the easiest thing to say would be... Our mountain... You see-" The man turned and walked back towards the alter, turning his face at the others,"You are all going to live here with me for a very long time... You are all going to be my own little army of dragons. In the end, you will all leave here with me, and kill..." | |

| The Amethyst dragon turned its head towards the cloaked man, a cold feeling trickled down its spine. It slowly walked towards the direction of the "cloaked man", stopping at the purple barrier which was imprisoning them.
"K-Kill...?" The dragon's voice shocked even itself, it was rather meek and sounded very squeamish---As if a frightened young child were crying for his mother, and all that was returned to him was a faint echo. The dragon now knew they weren't just prisoners, they were to be slaves of this cloaked man. | |

| He didn't even turn to the dragon as he looked over the Alter, saying,"Of course Kill. Among other things of course... But that's for another time. Let us wait for the others to hatch, and then we'll proceed with the ritual." | |

| The Iron Dragon already poked it's head completely out of his egg as it was shaking violently but didn't tip over, the top of the shell on his head. Though his body is still in the containment of the egg, He decided to roar a bit and looked at the awakened dragons, then looked at the Ring and the man. Perplexed, he decided not to say anything, even if he knew he could talk, the Iron Dragon just yawned loudly and begin scratching his belly with his fore arms inside the shell. | |

| The Cobalt dragon broke out head first, taking a few seconds to make a determined effort to cleans the goo from its body. It took time to adjust to its surroundings, making the likely inference that they were screwed, or well near it.
He didn't bother to test his vocal chords after observing the trouble the others had with such daunting tasks. His first reaction to the odd cloaked man was anger, but that soon evaporated. ---
After the man spoke, the Cobalt dragon followed what seemed like instinct for its kind and bowed its head in obedience to get an early tactical lead, or something of the sort. In truth he didn't understand the situation, but figured the cloaked man wouldn't keep them alive if he had no use for them. He could go on a spree later, but for now, the barrier must be lifted. | |

| The Blue Dragon popped out it's head from it's shell, looking at it's vicinity with a scared expression. It lowered it's head as it shook from fear. The Blue Dragon gulped and continued to be afraid after the man spoke. | |

| The purple dragon was one of the last to actually jump out of its shell. As its eyes registered color, texture and shadow, it noticed two things. One--it was a she, and two, there was a similar hue coming from the barrier as there was on the man--was it? Somehow she felt she could tell--'s cloak.
A bit overjoyed with the revelation, the female purple dragon failed to notice its own color until after a moment of listening to the man's strange, imposing words. She could not grasp a very precise meaning in the sounds, but she knew it was serious and, boding bad for her, she knew, it concerned her and these other, similar-looking creatures around her. | |

| "Good... I'm happy that all of you had a successful birth. Now, we may begin." The man in the cloak brushed his hand over the alter; a deep purple coming off of the alter. Seconds afterward, all of the dragons started to glow a dark black, their innards feeling as if they were being turned inside out as the cloaked man continued to drag his hand over the top of the alter.
However, in the middle of the process the person behind the Cobalt dragons cage passed out, the circle disappearing because the exhausted person could no longer concentrate. The Cobalt dragon was free, but it didn't end the feeling he had on the inside as the cloaked man continued... | |

| The Cobalt dragon was somewhat delayed in its reaction to move out of the cage spot, head still bowed to the cloaked man. The plan wasn't going to happen despite being freed. The Cobalt dragon knew that fighting with this kind of feeling would be impossible, only now realizing how small it was while standing next to a passed out man sprawled on the floor. Anger changed quickly to fear, and back to a more calm state. The Cobalt dragon maintained its subordinate stance for the time being.
Thoughts rushed through its mind. Eventually it decided it was counterproductive to look up until excused. Only then could it gather the surroundings. | |

| One lonely egg, sitting off in the corner, began to rock and tremble abruptly as if suddenly losing its patience. Cracks inched their way across the entire surface as herald to the birth of its occupant; a grey dragon, tumbling haphazardly backwards as one wall of the natural prison finally gave way. Something about it seemed... smaller, less threatening, as if it was the runt of this collection. The Grey rolled from its back onto its legs, spreading its dark wings for the first time and hurling the discarded shell away with its tail.
Boing!
The egg reflected off the violet barrier, bringing with its return the realization that something was amiss with the bluntness of... well, the bluntness of an eggshell hitting a dragon in the face.
"Mrrrr...?" the newborn growled in puzzlement, its virgin vocal cords responding with a deep, resonant sound. Strong weeks, strong legs, steady breathing... she was healthy, so who were these fleshlings and why was she imprisoned?! The creature's anger quickly turned its growl into a heartfelt roar, spat out at the barrier and the figures cowering behind it. It didn't understand why exactly it was angered at this development, but it was too young to give a shit. The sensation of having one's insides twisted into amusing shapes came later, and certainly didn't help its disposition.
"Grrowl... what... is this?!" | |

| "Merely an experiment child..." The Cloaked figure said.
Once again, another one of the people fell, this time the one behind the Purple dragon. | |

| The Amethyst dragon collapsed to the ground, screeching out in pain. (W-What is this feeling... I do not like it...) The Amethyst dragon used its front paws, pounding the ground and pushing itself upwards with them. Barely able to move, it used all of its willpower to speak.
"E-experiment? What do you intend to do with us?!" The Amethyst dragon shouted, still not used to its own voice. Although it spoke out and loud, it still sounded somewhat fearful and passive---wavering somewhat as it tried to fight through the pain. (They want to use us... But for what? Why do they want to use us---?)
---"Raaah!" The Amethyst dragon collapsed again, too worn to move. (It hurts to breath... Why does my body feel so heavy...? ... Make the pain stop... Make it stop...)

| The Chromium dragon halted his scratching as he stumbled to the ground due to the pain of the magic. He struggled to get back on all fours with the look of anguish on his face eventually limping toward the hooded figure focusing on his cage wondering when he will give out.
The chromium dragon was patiently waiting in front of the figure looking up into the his face giving off a slight twitch of the eye every so often due to the pain. | |

| "Alright... One last thing aaand, done." As the Cloaked man finished, all of the barriers dropped, because all of the other people passed out. The pain subsided, and now it was just the cloaked man with a lot of Wyrmlings,"That worked out perfectly. What do you all think?" | |

| Purple dragon felt the dizzying, unsettling pain in its core. Wondering what it would bring to her, she was absolutely devastated when another of these two-legged creatures she identified as humans passed out near her, setting her free. She noticed how the barrier no longer glowed purple. It was her chance, she knew.
Getting ready to jump, she brutally stopped herself when the man's voice reached her untrained ears. Closing her big, round eyes, she wondered if it was a good idea to still run away. | |

| The Cloaked man, still listening for answers, would turn around by this point, waving his hands as the illusion of a structure was taken down. In all reality, they were all in a cave, the caves mouth on one side opening to a mountain range. | |

| The Amethyst dragon attempted to push itself back up, struggling with its weakened body. "What did you... Do...?" It found itself muttering, hardly able to speak. The Amethyst dragon examined the area as its surroundings changed, finding itself now in a cave of some sorts. (W-What is this..? Are we not where we were before...?) The Amethyst turned its head towards the mouth of the cave; (Light...?) It began to depict images of when it escaped from its egg, a small crack of light in the darkness, it crawled towards it-- Only to be locked in a new and more frightening world. It began to wonder what could be beyond that light, perhaps another prison? Is everything just a cruel joke, set for them only to live in these taunting and teasing environments? | |
