| Thoughts raced through the Cobalt dragon's head as it looked up at the cloaked man and the pain went away. Should he attack? Should he wait? He felt small by the passed out man lying besides him, and this cloaked man was bigger. Should he just leave? The cave exit was right at the entrance, but who kenw what power this man had guarding it? It appeared the altar was the center of the man's power, and if that could be seized, he could roam free. Every few seconds the Cobalt Dragon almost braced itself to leap up and attack before deciding against it.
"What other powers do you have?" The Cobalt dragon asked, its untrained voice failing by the last word a little.

| "Plenty my dear dragon. For I am a Flesh Weaver. Simple as that. For now though I think I'll just relax. You can all go out and get some fresh air if you'd like." The cloaked man chuckled again before stretching a bit, sitting beside his Alter. | |

| What reached the purple dragon's ears was simply a few mingled words that emoted comfort and, oddly enough, authority. That was all the permission she needed before she clumsily darted out of the mouth of the cave, towards the sunlight. | |

| The Cobalt dragon was surprised by this declaration, but had no objections. It walked calmly out of the cave entrance before the purple dragon darted out. Encouraged, the Cobalt dragon followed suit, darting behind the purple dragon. | |

| (--- "I am a flesh weaver"---) The Amethyst dragon pondered upon these words... "Flesh... weaver..." The Amethyst dragon stretched its hind legs, and familiarized itself with the movement of its tail. It followed the purple dragon outside, into the light... curious of what would be on the other end. Just as it reached the source of the light, the Amethyst dragon pushed its hind legs into the rocky cave floor and stood on them. Using its front paws, it blocked some of the sunlight from its unadjusted eyes. (So... Bright...) Gradually over a few moments, the light wasn't as harsh. The Amethyst dragon lowered its front legs down to the ground, and walked outside.

| Once you got outside you noticed a few things rather quickly. For one, they were quite high up. At least 1000 ft. There was a platform of earth that stretched 20 feet right outside the door, and anyone standing on the edge could see that the sun was just rising, and that they could see for miles. Near the bottom there were vast forests, as well as a lake under the platform quite a ways.
There was a small path going off to the right, circling down the mountainside. If one could look hard enough, they'd see several miles in the distance, a small town between a valley.
The cloaked man called out,"Wonderful sight isn't it? I have no food for you all for now, but I'm sure you'll find food in the forests below. Plenty of wild life down there."

| Only minutes after being born, the Cobalt dragon had experienced... interesting things. It knew whoever this man was, he wasn't normal, but was also trapped in the thought that the whole town was like him. So, he found it necessary to not leave in the direction. The man had invited them to wander off a little and hunt. The Cobalt Dragon was unaware of whether or not this man was as bad as he had originally thought, but nonetheless took the invitation and started down the path. | |

| The walk would take awhile, but it would end at a forest at the bottom. By this point a dragons senses were awakening more, and you could not only see and hear far, but you could feel the vibrations around you. There was plenty of wild life around, and sensing them was rather easy. It seemed almost peaceful compared to what had happened a few minutes ago. | |

| The Amethyst dragon's ears twitch as they feel the vibrations of the animals pattering their feet from afar. (What is this noise..? This scent...?) They felt alien to the young Amethyst dragon, yet at the same time familiar.
"F-Food...?" The Amethyst dragon paid its attention to its stomach, the situation around it being clouded out by its hunger. It ran off towards the forest, jumping left and right to dodge rocks and debris that would otherwise trip it. A short time later the Amethyst dragon had reached the bottom of the cliff, and its senses were driven wild. A flurry of scents and sounds that nearly drove it mad.

| As the other dragon reached the bottom, the Cobalt dragon began hunting. It walked off in the direction of what seemed to be a large rabbit concentration, signaling the other dragon to go to the left. It wasn't clear how the dragon had known tactics, probably instinct. | |

| The Amethyst dragon watched as the Cobalt dragon gave it a rather distinctive gesture. Only a short moment after did it register to the Amethyst dragon that the other wanted it to go left. The Amethyst dragon dashed lightly on its feet, the sound of it kicking the leaves on the ground giving off the same light sound as something the size of a chipmunk scurrying along the ground. (He wants me to help him gather food...?)
The Amethyst dragon examined its surroundings, a rather complimentary sized group of small creatures moving about in the distance. As it got closer, the Amethyst dragon followed its instincts and crouched low to the ground, and crawled slowly towards the small creatures as it hid behind thin layers of brush. (That smell... This feeling... This rush...) The Amethyst dragon's nostrils began to widen as it readied its hind legs, listening for the other dragon it was with just moments ago.
The Amethyst dragon then looked off in the direction of the Cobalt dragon, giving it a quick look followed by a nod, and then turned its attention back towards the creatures ahead. It pounced a small group of rabbits, entrapping them within its paws so that they couldn't escape.

| The Cobalt dragon examined the furry creatures thoroughly. He calmly and silently made his way to the right of their batch before realizing the Amethyst dragon didn't get the plan. So their roles were reversed. The Cobalt dragon rushed to the area the rabbits were running and jumped in front of them, blocking their paths. | |

| The rabbits were frantic, running back and forth and trying their best to find a way around the dragons. There were at least 6 rabbits, one of them finding a path to the side it can use as it started to hop off. | |

| The Blue Dragon opened it's eyes after the scenic change. It went out of the cave and saw the others chasing the rabbits. It nodded at itself and tried to catch up with the others, maybe even finding food of it's own. | |

| The Cobalt dragon swept its left paw, catching another rabbit across the face before biting a second and pouncing on a third. He waited for the other dragon to make his move before he would divide the catch. | |

| It seemed there was still a there was still a egg left, and it rocked back and forth violently. Suddenly, a crack opened up down the side of the shell, and across the top. A snout poked it's way out, sucking air in almost greedily, before the egg fell over, cracking more.
A bronze coloured creature stumbled and rolled out of its egg, blinking and looking around. Her wings were damp, and wouldn't be of use at the moment...Slowly, her eyesight went from blurry to clear, and she took in the man sitting next to an odd structure... An altar? The knowledge just came to her, and she moved towards him, questioningly. "Um.... What... What's going on...?" She asked, her head tilting as she took her first stumbling steps forward toward the man. He seemed... Dark somehow, and she recalled the barest hint of a nasty feeling she had had while trying to break out of the egg, something that had delayed her freedom.

| "Hm?" The cloaked man turned his head toward the bronze dragon, his face still unseen even with how close she was,"Oh, you are all part of an experiment, and as such you all get to live comfortably as I watch you. That's all that happened." | |

| The Amethyst dragon leaped at an escaping rabbit, and pinned it to the ground. Just before it attempted to slit the rabbit's throat, it stopped its claw halfway as it watched the rabbit shake in fear. (...It's.. No different than I not long ago...) The Amethyst dragon released the rabbit, and watched with grimace as it got away. It dropped to its hind knees, a fearful childlike expression could be seen on its face.
"I...I don't want to kill..." The Amethyst dragon looked at its fellow kin, and then ran off deeper into the jungle brush with no sign of stopping.

| The bronze dragon blinked a little at those words, before glancing at the outside of the cave. "I... Can leave...?" She asked, turning back to look at the man, wishing she could see more of his face. It just seemed rude to her... To not show your face when speaking. | |

| "Go right ahead. I wont stop you. Why do you think I got so many dragons?" He answered, shrugging as he continued to sit. | |

| The Cobalt dragon stared at the Amethyst dragon blankly. It seemed to not understand the concept of pacifism. Maybe it was the nature of its kind, but it seemed to work hard for a few seconds to get its head around some idea.
"Well if you don't kill how do you get food?" It asked. He figured this dragon was weak, and deserved no food. Then he realized his stomach didn't have enough room for 3 rabbits of this size. Then he realized this dragon was pathetic and deserved no food. But if it had no food, how could it live? But it didn't deserve to live because it couldn't follow it's master's orders. But who is he to be a master? But this dragon was still pathetic. But the Cobalt dragon didn't want to be mean yet.
CONFUSION It thought, purging the debate from its head.
It had finally decided to toss a rabbit to the Amethyst dragon before realizing the other dragon had run off. Now it was time to eat. That or preserve the food. The first hour of the Cobalt dragon's life had been full of dilemmas, so ultimately he just decided to sit down and find a way to open the rabbit.

| The Emerald dragon had barely heard what the cloaked man said at the alter; squirming in agony at internal pain, but he was rolling on his back as the pain left him. He froze in place, lost in sudden self-awareness, but his head twitched as he glanced first at the alter, and then the lump of a body lying on the ground near him.
Is it dead?, Was his first thought, followed swiftly by, Can I eat it?
But that urge to devour the lifeless hump soon passed, and was replaced with a strange concern; or perhaps just a curiousity into why it had fallen. The wyrmling rolled over, kicking up a puff of dust but never breaking eye contact with the body. He moved slowly, cautiously, but when he reached the body, he purred as he pressed a cold nose against the body, nudging it twice. Upon recieving no reaction, he glanced around the room. Most of the others had left, out the bright opening in the cave no doubt.
He saw a line of bodies, and piles of egg shells of various pattern, and another egg moving and vibrating. Mentally, it was a sigh, but he sounded the reverberant coughing noise quickly before sitting back comfortably, enjoying the simple entertainment in watching from the outside, what he had experienced only moments ago; she passed natures first test with flying colors, stumbling around the room. The freedom outside was intriguing, but some part of him wanted to remain and see what became of her. After all, she had been late, if the pain inflicted on them after hatching had been some test, would she fail, having missed it. But alas, the cloaked man seemed rather impartial all together; still curious, he layed his head down in his place and watched from a distance.

| The bronze dragon blinked lightly, and looked around the room she found herself in first, her eyes surveying the bodies laid out on the ground in a circle. She also caught sight of something green. Her eyes seemed to widen in curiosity. A smile spreading on her face, she stumbled forward towards the green shape, realising he seemed like her, only different. "... Hi...?" She said, her voice curious as she scooted closer along her belly, having lowered herself automatically. | |

| It was true that the purple dragon was greatly impressed when it looked over the ledge, its jaw dropping as it admired the seemingly bottomless height. It took it a while to explore the extensions of its body, looking at its thin, frail legs and its strong tail. For the first time in her life, the purple dragon moved its forequarters, and realized that they weren't forequarters at all. Purple dragon had wings. It took her an even longer while to register what possible use those wings could have for the famished dragon. She grimly nodded to herself after a moment, and extended its wings upwards and around herself, letting the wind blow freely into them. She slowly started flapping them, trying to find a way to sweep down into the forest. Hunting, she knew, was a majestic sport. (If I can't fly yet or whatever, Bestie, just make me fail. ) | |

| The Purple dragon at first didn't catch enough wind as it started to fall, fall, fall.... But nearing the end a gust of caught her wings, blowing her slightly upwards as she started to glide. Not much flying, but she could glide quite well. | |
