looks like this one might still be ongoing, which is good because it is really well-done

this story has much of the same events happen as canon, same canon powers and so on, but starts with a major deviation. in canon, taylor is subject to a prank where sophia entices a bunch of boys to chase her with the intention of duct-taping her to a telephone pole, which she escapes. in this story, not only is she caught, but subject to much worse, which leads to her using her power to save herself, but killing almost three-hundred people in the process

shows competence and acceptance of blame on the part of the PRT, and good overall characterization. will be looking forward to this continuing

taylor triggers with Blasto's shard and becomes Nilbog the second (kind of). in some ways, better off than in canon, in other ways she is actually in a lot of trouble, not the least of which because the protectorate makes all the wrong comparisons and tries to treat her as a villain instead of a rogue hero

this was a crackfic series based around Taylor getting a Thinker power that allows her to copy techniques...and her picking up techniques from Dragonball Z, of all places. it went about the way i thought it would, although i did in fact like the last couple of chapters more than i expected.

then, the author had another idea and apparently decided to tack the new series along with his/her? previously-existing fic, where apparently Danny is an anime-affecienado, and Taylor starts picking up powers from pokemon as well as DBZ, although she does have a bit of a slower start

a worm/dungeon keeper crossover. very certain this one is dead, although it had an interesting premise

very much dislike how tattletale was portrayed in this one. she was somewhat unbelievable in Levels, but here she was more or less an outright bitch for virtually no reason. i understand getting under people's skin is kind of her thing, but leaving a first-night newbie to deal with a suicide-bombing serial killer, even if you think they are tough enough to survive, is kind of a dick move

could be a cool one, but if i'm going to read it i need to be in for the long haul, because this thing is half the length of the original canon, or roughly the length of the entire Harry Potter series.

taylor doesn't trigger, but is instead given the power of the Varga, from Luna Varga, a 90s anime starring a princess that gets bonded with a dinosaur demon. cool stuff

EDIT: I really need to take a breather on this one- i think i passed the 500k-600k line on this one already
it's great, but it still feels like it drags at places. still, if nothing else, this one is fucking hilarious

very interesting and remarkably light-hearted piece addressing directly the fact that there are no telepaths in Worm-verse, and sets about fixing that. short fic, but looking good

a horrifying but in the oddest way positive story. taylor is a master/stranger who can make anyone who touches her into her friends. plumber joe, cop corvo, steve mcsteal...Lung. Shadow Stalker. Hookwolf.
and yet, scary as that is, and as unsettling as it is to do this to people unwillingly or under duress, people who she becomes friends with become friends with Everyone Else she is friends with. So, if she becomes friends with everyone, there are no more fights. No villains, no robbers, no gang wars- just happy communities.

really like this, just wish there was a tad bit more to see. not that it needs much, but some more scenery would have been nice.

this story is way too short; i am so sad that it died
based off of Jumper, this story sees Taylor not trigger in the locker, but live to see her world fall apart further- lung attacks the docks, destroys the Dockworker's Union, puts Danny out of work. Bills can't get paid, problems pile up, tensions mount, and finally Danny breaks his personal rule, lets his anger take hold, and strikes Taylor. Taylor thus develops more or less limitless teleportation, and leaves Brockton Bay

that is the prologue; the actual story doesn't pick up until literally eight years later, when she comes back to visit her dad for the first time since he hit her and caused her to gain her powers. As for what she did in the meantime...well, what didn't she do?
- visited basically every corner of the globe
-trained with a sword-wielding monk on a mountain
-found a girlfriend in Lily/Flechette/Foil, who eventually left the wards to travel the world with her
-got married to Lily
-apparently stole a Shit-ton of money
-was forced by Lily to return most of the money
-attended every single Endbringer fight for five years
-met the Ash Beast
-may have met Moord Nag
-may have visited the Birdcage, specifically the Fairie Queen
-fought the Butcher, multiple times
-fought a LOT of people
-like, seriously, she is rumored to have a kill count in the quadruple digits

this could have been such an epic story. such a shame the author didn't continue it
