魔界 Demon World: Ancient Japan: Volume 1

For a bunch of bandits, they seem to be elite.

The left bandit spits a green goop from his nasty alligator-like tongue towards the eyes of Izogoth. While the right bandit tries to take down the doctor with a slash of it's dagger.

Hiryu countered the middle bandit with a side-slash, the bandit's torso was cut off clean. But Hiryu suffers from poison by a slash in the neck.

Ichiha didn't even bother taking off the scabbard of her tachi sword. She grabbed it by the hilt with one hand and put her other in the scabbard--an unusual pose, but for a far stronger grip. She nodded at Izogoth's answer and swung the blade towards the bony head of the closest bandit... walking dead.

Seeing Hiryu fall, she shuddered, but retained her determination to kill every last one.

The three bandits were disposed of.
Goro just stood there the whole time of the battle. He looked in disappointment for his comrade Hiryu. For that was the first time, he was ever injured in combat. Hiryu glared at the staircase, for it was his ticket out of the long underground hallway. He managed to get up, his left hand covering the poisoned part of his neck. He nodded to the Doctor, hoping he would give him an antidote.

"....?" He looked in the doctor's eyes, he glared at his pupils with a stare of confusion. Hiryu ached, as the poison grew even more stronger. He squinted his eyes, enduring the pain. "My life...is better...then death itself..." He hoped the Doctor would give him an antidote to cure the poison, if not...then the foreigners would lose a leader.

"Just cure him," Ichiha said. "He's your paycheck."

"...."Hiryu covered the wound with his blood-stained hand, he watches the staircase that was 10 feet away from him.We need to get going...

"Not yet."Goro replied. "We still don't know if Musashi and Hanate ever got on the Island."

Izogoth went up the staircase, seeing about ten more of those bandits and a longer staircase.
One of the bandits saw Izogoth, and alerted the other nine. They begin to rush and take offense to the trespasser.

Ichiha looked at Izogoth, one eyebrow cocked. "Careful. It might be just one big trap you're walking into." As she heard the dead shout, she sighed and lifted the scabbarded blade once more.

Goro stayed and watched for Hiryu, while the commotion occured. Hiryu was dying to stand up and help. But he knew if he did, he would actually die.


As the ten bandits charge, A anonymous being went down the staircase, and watched. He wore ancient armor, his eyes glow a sicklish green aura.

The first demon that came at him, lunged with a dagger in mid-air.
The second and third demon tried to do the same, while the other demons tried to get down to the staircase and attack him.

The mysterious being slowly walks towards the staircase, gripping the handle of a sheathed sword.

The mysterious man unsheathed his blade and slashed the air, it caused a rift of darkness going straight in his direction, it broke the edges of wood and passed Izogoth's head. The rift of darkness forms a barrier filled with fog and shadow. The cursed bandit demons vanish and disappear. The mysterious man charges and jumps down the staircase, causing a minor quake. He pushed Izogoth to the other side of the barrier. Izogoth was trapped with the mysterious man.

The mysterious man introduced himself."Soga no Umako."
He pointed the tip of his blade at him, he smirked for fighting a fellow Japanese man.
"Make your move, warrior."

Theme Playing: Zelda TP: Ganondorf Sword Fight.

" Only a fool would talk as their first move...Choose wisely next time." Soga no Umako sheathed his blade, magic begins to form. He unsheathed his blade quickly, and aims the blade at him. A vertical wave of darkness goes straight at him. "Katsu!" He thought the battle was already over.
