6 nudged 10 roughly, attempting to get him to shut up before he got them all killed.

"Sorry Mr. Voice, he's young and doesn't understand very much. We didn't mean to offend you in any way," 6 apologized.

"Aah come on now... Why would you be afraid of me?" The Voice asked, laughing as he finished his sentence, his cigarette dropping from his mouth and hitting the elevator floor.

Everything seems to stop. Nine sees everything in a pale gray, even himself. There is no music, no motion, nothing... The Voice is the only one in color as he seriously replies,"What."

"I was going to give a proposition...I know you aren't going to let us out, or at least if you do, it'll be through death. Here's the proposition: I help you kill or drag these two back to the room, and I work for you. I keep my memories, but I will work here, with payment of course, but I will willingfully allow you to do more tests on me...think of me as a guard of sorts, seeing as my power is to produce forcefields, I could stop escapees more easily. The only other thing I want to stay happy down here and working, is a larger room with stuff I can run and climb on...that and to see the surface ever so often for some fresh air. I don't expect you to accept this, but it's a thought, and one I'm willing to stick with, seeing that I didn't have much of a life before this anyway if I can't even remember it."

"Pass." Is all the Voice replies, as Nine is pressed against the wall with sheer force, his skull crushed as this happens. Time then continues as Six and Ten see Nine's headless body fall limp to the ground, the floor slowly being filled with his blood.

"Sorry you had to see this, we had a disagreement." The Voice replies.

6 stared wide-eyed as 9 slumped to the floor, lying in a pool of his own blood. He swallowed.

"It's quite alright Mr. Voice," 6 said, trying desperately to keep his voice level. "Pretty good music hm?"
