| Ariel jumped about a foot as she heard the voice of the little girl, Grace, next to her.
"How the hell...?'
She swallowed. How much did she hear? How did she get there so fast? Did she understand what she told TK? All these questions sped the rough Ariel's mind, though she took a deep breath and calmed down. Panicking was not an option.
"Oh, h-hello, Grace," she started, trying desperately to keep her voice even. "I was just speaking to a friend." It was the truth after all.
