Really sad this one is stalled (or possibly dead) because it is such a cool premise, and even has Emma and Danny set up to help her from the get-go. hoping it's just on hiatus, but considering how many fics i've seen fall by the wayside i'm not getting my hopes up

really good characterization with a power we don't get to see often
really rapid movement/self-fracture ability that in canon belonged to a Birdcage villain by the name of Black Kaze. has some impact on taylor- she operates at high speeds, so moving along normally is absolute torture- kind of like being add/adhd on crack. also makes it really hard for her to speak in normal, coherent sentences. burgeoning friendship with Dean and Victoria- good stuff

Of Seconds

Taylor has Epoch's power, which means she is a short-range time-traveler. more specifically, she can jump forward 10 seconds, backwards 10 seconds, or stop time for 10 seconds. Does an exceptional job of displaying how useful and powerful a rewind ability can be when in the hands of someone as creative and resourceful as Taylor
at the same time it does a good job of showing why I should never ever play a chronokinetic, because this is exactly the kind of shit I would pull

Flood
SpaceBattles- caught up at Infection 1.4

Taylor becomes a Gravemind from Halo...kind of. She definitely is part of the Flood, but where it goes from there remains uncertain, especially as the fic is more or less dead.
Interesting premise, because Taylor actually ends up in quarantine due to how her power initially manifested, and is thus moved to New York. wish i could say more, but that is as far as the story got before it stopped

EDIT: looked into the comments and apparently the author is still holding on to the hope that they can keep writing. we will wait and see

All Things Devoured

The Locker goes incredibly badly for Taylor, and she comes out broken and technically dead...which makes sense, considering this story is a crossover of Dead Space.
Not sure if i like the story for how it steam-rolled Emma (everyone knows she crossed a line and her life is basically imploding) or angry with it for what it did to Danny (he lost his job at the DWU, and is forced to work at a supermarket, a paycheck that doesn't quite pay the bills)

Alma Wade/Fear-style Taylor
fucks with a lot of people, but especially Armsmaster. did admirable job of humanizing him. too bad it's been dead for almost 2 years

Not...completely sure how i feel about this one
on the one hand, it had a lot of elements I really enjoyed seeing: a Rachel that was actually treated well, a Sophia who learned how to be a person, a Taylor who got to be in the Wards while also realistically hating the fuck out of Sophia, an apologetic Emma, even some floof

and yet...it didn't feel right.
there wasn't great pacing, the characterization- despite the fact that it was an AU specifically designed for differentiation- just felt wrong, and it just didn't feel complete, not the least of which because it quite frankly didn't end, and didn't feel like the crux of conflict was actually resolved

not a bad fic, and it definitely has its moments, but i can't say I'd recommend this one personally

Hammer Time
Space Battles- completed at chapter 6

Taylor is given Gavel's power- a massive increase in durability, strength, and the ability to make things temporarily invulnerable (specifically so that they can survive the initial hit only to be pulverized by the impact). short and sweet, with Taylor giving a literal smackdown to Sophia, actually getting things looked at by Assault, and leaves off with Danny and Taylor beginning to work things out.

A decent fic, i guess, but with a power like Gavel's I am- rather surprisingly- sad that there isn't much actual combat. there were only two proper scenes with her using her power, and only one where she engages even slightly in actual combat. I liked how it all resolved, but I thoroughly dislike how the Protectorate heroes and PRT so cavalierly just dig into Taylor's background. Even if it was for a good reason (and considering how it turned out I'm actually kind of glad they did), they broke some of their most important rules pretty much because a new parahuman simply rejected their Wards offer, a feature that I similarly disliked in Firebird.

Numb

Kind of unfortunate that this one died an early death, because it had some good vibes to it. Smart and somewhat lucky Taylor, permanent disability due to the Locker, kind of boring but fairly useful power. Pity we never got beyond the meeting with the lawyer

Friend of the Family

could have been longer, but that's what we got
basically, Number Man doesn't exist, or at least not as he did in canon. Instead, Danny was Harbinger, and Annette was Screamer, back in the days when King ran the Slaughterhouse Nine. Annette and Danny left the Nine after they helped bring down King, but remained friends with Jack. one day, Taylor comes home to find Jack Slash sitting in her living room and is reasonably distraught

Spiders and Snakes

God I wish this one had lasted past 2013
basically, it's a Worm/Soul Eater crossover, with Taylor picking up Medusa and her powerset. I say that quite literally- she is described by Gallant as having the feeling of two separate entities, and when she is shadow-fighting for practice she explicitly describes what viewers of Soul Eater will recognize as the Stein fight.

great premise, had a sweet power. just wish it had actually lasted beyond a couple of snippets.

short and simple 40k crossover where Taylor is a Bonesinger. didn't get off the ground, but it's a premise I've enjoyed in a couple of other fics (though admittedly they didn't last much longer)

Stopping on this one. I had hopes- it was a Dark Souls crossover that had potential, but lots and lots of little things strained the suspension of disbelief and made it kind of hard to enjoy.

This one just came back from a few month hiatus. Taylor is technically a Case 53, but is really just a female version of Gambit from X-Men, complete with her being an amnesiac who woke up in the back streets of New Orleans and ended up running a thieves' union

EDIT: lol, the chapter Devil in the Church actually puts the devil child in a church. that's fantastic.
also, I'm never sure when i start a fic whether I am going to love or hate the author's interpretation of Victoria Dallon

and apparently i'm getting into QQ fics now. be warned, this one is smut. lots and lots of it. comes with the territory when Annette was secretly a succubus.
Lots of crack. so much of it. Especially great with the Birdcage breakout scene

The title say it all. AU where the S9 came to town to pick a fight with Marquis and take a schoolyard hostage to do so. Taylor happens to be there and doesn't give a flying fuck and tells the Siberian not to chew with her mouth open, shocking basically everyone. She interests Jack and receives an offer from Jack similar to what he offers to Theo in canon.

A Propensity for Wrath

unfortunately short, this was another Worm/Bloodborne crossover, but instead of having Taylor transported between one world and another, Yharnam instead actually exists within the world of Worm, and was recently uncovered and excavated.
Also, really hilarious that Medhall was rapidly being set up as the newest iteration of the Healing Church

We're All Mad Here

Taylor ends up in her own version of Wonderland, a la American McGee's Alice. Not very long at this point, but the writer does good work, and this story shows promise
