9 continues jogging

...if we are here...where is the voice...if the voice belongs to none of us, then there must be another...unless the voice is but a voice...no...there is no logic to that...

He keeps jogging, unmoving otherwise

" Were you talking about yourself?" "If so yes"
*He idly started rapping his knuckles on the table to a beat.

Two gulped, wondering why he got himself into that.
"Meh...You still look weird....Are you still ugly?..."

After that, 6 got up and and picked up a few dumbells to do some more arm exercises.

"What's up 9?" he asked casually. He was unusually chatty today. A little uncharacteristic.

" Are You Still Ugly? " " Answer your own questions..."
*10 grabbed the deck of cards.
"Wanna play?"

"I don't want to play with someone ugly. But sure."
2 scooted closer to the table, interested out of boredom.

Two had lasted about 2% longer running on Aerobic then he did yesterday. Good improvement. Turning down the speed, he slowed to a jog and enjoyed the atmosphere, whatever atmosphere there was here.

*10 dealt the cards, idly playing the game.

2 looked at the cards. And then at 10, and then back at the cards, and then back at 10 with a face of 'WTF'

*10 grinned, the aces up his sleeve.

2 replied.
"Eh...I'm gonna sit this one out...and since Me and you are the only one playing..I can just leave you, and you can play your cards alone....So...yea........"-cough-
2 got out of the chair and left the table and quickly walked and sat at the table behind 10.

* 10 grinned
"Jackass.." He thought.
*To pass the time, he shuffled the deck.

He glared at 10 behind to see if he wasn't looking, then quickly turned back. He did this repeatedly to pass the time.

Quite tardy, Eight seemed to ponder her response before she replied in a calm, but deflated, voice. Almost in a whisper. "I feel just like any day. I could use some... change."

To the following inquiry, Eight again seemed to give the same monotonous reply. "My name is Eight. I am 118lbs and 5 feet, six inches tall." Her clipped voice went down. "I am Caucasian."

" Ugh. I've had it with this..." 10 yelled, shoving his chair back in. He got up and walked over to the treadmill. Setting the speed on high, he pressed start and began to run, burning off the adrenaline.

Two stood up and stretched, doing pushups and sits up, and ending the exercise with a punch on the wall. It didn't make a dent or crack, but it sure hit hard on his fingers.

6 frowned slightly.

'Ah well, maybe he's busy.'

After doing some bicep and triceps curls he put the dumbbells down and went over to a treadmill. He set the speed a little higher than usual, ready for a challenge.

*After jogging for 10 minutes on fast, 10 got up and went to his room.
*Once he entered his room, he turned the sink water on.
*Putting his hands under the water, he started splashing the water on his face. When he was cooled down enough, he started to drink some of the water, and then returned to his spot in the rec room on the back table.

Eight went into the Rec room. She pondered the Voice's reply. Change would come. The Voice never lied. She sat down on the table and took out a pack of card. Usually Eight would exercise--it kept her trim, as she observed from previous nights. But she didn't feel like moving today. She felt like letting chance decide what she got.

Two continued to do the painful exercise, but tried harder on his wall punches, as he tried his hand began to bleed.

*Looking around, he noticed almost everyone was present, except the few that were always late.
