"I can kill anyone with a finger motion." He said. And he wasn't lying.

"Wait...when should I or should I not use this?"

9 ignores the sudden headache

6 stared at three.

"Wow. Why aren't your hands tied then?"

"Negotiations." Three replied, leaning against the wall and wondering what the lab would do to them next.

9 raises his eyebrows and goes into the rec room, his face a normal expression...he goes and jogs on the treadmill

*10 sat perfectly content, surrounded by ice and snow.
"May I go now?" 10 asked the voice without shivering.

6 just nodded slowly, not really knowing what to say. He saw 9 and beckoned him to come over.

"Hey 9," 6 greeted.

9 walks over to 6
"Hello"

6 cleared his throat.

"So um, how was your morning," he asked. Then he glanced down at his hands.

"My morning is alright...some interesting stuff went down and now I've got some new thing it seems"

9 stretches and jogs in place for a second then stops, realizing that he looks stupid doing so

*Ten walks into Rec room, clothes full of snow.
*Silently he made his way to his usual spot

9 looks at 10, seeing the snow, a little gear clicks in his head

what?! wait...I know what that is...but here? no...wait...how? where is this? what's going on?!

He awaits 6's reply

6 sighed and went over to a table.

"Want to play cards?" he asked. He knew that he couldn't use his hands but he had to something.

'Maybe it's not a good idea to talk about it... But what else can we do? What if we end up like 2 and 5? No one even knows what happened to them...'

9 sits at the table
"...I'm sorry, I don't know any card games..."

...wait...I've been here my whole life, how don't I know cards? wait...no...unless...but...I don't remember...how long have we been here?!

"What's up?"
He inquires to 6

...this is a lie...this life...it's fake...but how? it feels like this is normal...but these comflicting feelings...no...there is something more, and I'm going to find out what it is.

6 sighed again. He looked at 9 and said quietly, "9 something is happening. Life as we know it has been changed forever. All I knew before was I would wake up, eat my meal bar, talk to the Voice, see you guys in here, and then go to bed. That was life, and I was content. But something is happening to us. I don't know what or why, but something is happening." He stopped to take a breath, staring at the table, then at his bound hands.

"What do you think?"

"Blackjack? Poker?" Three said, sitting at the table and realizing Six can't deal them in.

9 looks 6 straight in the eyes for about 3 seconds then looks at 6's hands
"What's wrong with your hands?"

he said, seeming to ignore what 6 said

Eight looked at the steel ball. Somehow she relaxed with the man. So that was it? What was psychokinesis? She wondered if the others had already finished their tests, if they had one. She felt alone. She gulped the air in the room and concentrated on the steel ball.

She noticed with surprise and fright that the ball rolled around without any other stimuli than her mind. It was like magic. After a little rolling around (to her disbelief), Eight tried something else; following the instructions, and making the ball float in the air. It did so.
