Fragility of the Mind

Alevon is silent for a moment before saying:
"Well..."

Alevon stands up straight

"Regarding the situation with TK...I know I made a mistake, having done what I did in regards to letting my childish youthful emotions control me, and having told her the truth, I have broken her heart it seems...I wish to make amends for the situation, but it seems the only way to do that is to be with her as I once was....and that is something you know I cannot do..."

"Because I have no feelings for her." is all Alevon says

"The feelings I once had were not real, Mike. They were formed from a desperate teenager's desire to fit in, and to be loved. I had lost everything at that point, and felt as if I needed someone to help me through it, and she did. But, the fact of the matter is, the feelings were false, and to pretend as if they were true would be but a lie. I don't feel that way about her, and I don't want her to think I do, when I don't. Understand?"

Alevon's arms are folded behind his back

"Er," Gabrielle awkwardly looked down at her banana. "Well, let's, uh, just say I'm past all that. I used to trip on acid, did heroin a few times..." She trailed off and frowned. "Yeah, definitely over it. A, uh, relative made sure of that." for some reason talking to Emir about her problems made her jittery. She had told Josh so nonchalantly, and she wondered why it was such an effort to talk about it to others. Perhaps because he was the first person to hit the mark. She didn't know herself.

Alevon shakes his head slightly
"It seems you aren't grasping this...my teenage hormone-fueled feelings are what would cause her to live that life of misery...it's my fault, not hers. If you recall, I did not love her to begin with, but wanted to use her for what she could do for me...so this entire situation...is all my fault. And back to the original issue; what do I do to fix it?"

"Uh-huh." Emir said, lighting his cigarette and putting in his mouth, puffing a few clouds.

"You seem hesitant, Gab. Something on your mind? Hopefully not the withdrawal symptoms." He asked, smoke covering his face.

"Love is something I cannot concern myself with right now...you know that"

Alevon walks to a tree and places his hand on it, feeling the texture

"...and the are an infinite amount of other options, but I am unaware as to which is the right one. Both options you mentioned are not something I can do...what an interesting challenge this is"

Alevon puts his back to the tree

"A lot of things are on my mind," she mumbled. Gabrielle was pretty certain she hadn't had a hard time quitting. A year after completely getting rid of the magic powder, she was certainly over it. "But, you know, I try hard to be something I'm not, and it's stressful."

Emir scoffed, puffing more smoke.

"I know what you mean, though what is it that you DON'T want to be?" Emir asking once again, hoping that he stop asking question and say what he done in his life.

"I... don't want to be a hindrance to people. I don't want to be something that people dislike, and I don't want people to have to do things they don't want." Gabrielle paused and stared at Emir's cigarette for a bit. "How about you, Emir? What do you want to be?"

(omg, lol, sorry I wasn't around! i've been sick for like three days : P)

Raine was so bored. She didn't need help and she didn't want pity. She also didn't want everyone smiling at her, speaking their "happy thoughts." It was all annoying and fake, and Raine didn't want a part of that at all.

She got up from where she was sitting, outwardly cringing at Josh's choice of music. She walked outside, her heels clicking sharply as she went. She stopped, leaned against the wall and thought about all the new people who had arrived. She had only, not even, interacted with one of them and all she had gotten was an afterthought of pity. That Emir was getting on her nerves, calling her a "drug whore" or a "drug wench" over and over. She found it very annoying. She eyed the left pocket of her jean short shorts that concealed the ecstasy tablets she had. She considered the thought of slipping a couple to him someway, just to finally get him to shut up.

Raine let out a laugh, reaching into her sweater pocket and taking out a joint and a lighter. She started burning and just leaned against the wall, thinking about her friend from long ago.


(and NO she's not physically burning (LOL), for those who might not know burning is a term for smoking up ahaha"

"I don't know....All I want is relax, I got a chaotic life and I never relaxed." Emir chuckled, getting a bowl and tapping his cigarette on its rim, ash falling in the bowl. "I just want peace, das all.....some peace to all of us I guess, even though it doesn't even answer your question Gab."

TK ripped her shirt in half, revealing her stomach and stretched. Nothing felt better than to her, she was used to being half dressed in such terrain, it was comfortable. The scent of a familiar forest helped to clear her mind. She still continued to fan herself.

"Nothing more than to keep moving forward ol' gal..."

Ariel wandered around, thinking about the evening so far. From what she had seen, everyone was doing alright. She was able to see Gabrielle and TK so that made her feel better on the inside. She needed to see her friends.

'Leana... Why did you leave me?'

She often asked herself this question. She had tried everything to bring her other back, and more often than not it landed her in serious trouble and dangerous situations. There were a few times where she was lucky to escape with her life. She had tried everything, yet it still wasn't enough to bring her back. The anger returned.

BANG! A large rock on the ground blew up as she walked around. She had to release it somehow. Though it never lasted long, and the anger soon morphed into sorrow. She couldn't take it. She went to find Raine.

Raine kept smoking, she narrowed her eyes and glared at Josh from the corner of her eye. She crossed her feet at the ankles and she blew the smoke she had held in into the man's face. She frowned, put off by the presence of another.

"No I don't, Mr. Glowworm," she muttered, taking another drag. She then laughed randomly, taking in the light around her.

"Trying to create a mood now? My, my, how forward you are." She then cupped her hands to her mouth, spreading her legs apart in a wide stance and shouting out to the outside world.

"Help! Oh, help! Some stranger is making advances at me!" she stopped, and burst out laughing, the high starting to get to her. Her sarcasm held steady though.
