Fragility of the Mind

"You're my bitch, so you will answer me." Raine grabbed a fistful of the sheets and threw them behind herself. She saw Ariel just lying there hiding her face. Raine looked down at the woman and frowned.

"You know, you do look quite pitiful from this angle," she tilted her head, "and this angle," and again, "and this one, and this one too."

Raine would hear a pained whisper of, "Go away..." before Ariel curled up into herself even more.

Raine's face was blank, she was quickly getting annoyed and bored of Ariel's poor-tortured-me routine.

"Nah, I think I'll stay. Everyone else is going violence crazy out there anyways. Damn kid, I should've just left her with that creepy old man. None of this shit would've gone down." She sighed, bringing her legs up onto the bed and crossing her legs, sitting in a cross-legged position.

Ariel sniffed and heard her phone buzz. She didn't move.

Raine heard Ariel's phone vibrate where it was on the bedside table and she smirked as she leaned over to grab it. SHe looked at the message from TK and speedily texted back, "No, it's okay. Gunna rest a while, have fun =)" Raine knew exactly how Ariel texted so it was easy as pie writing out a text that sounded like the woman.

She then turned her body and shot her foot out, hitting the back of Ariel's head with her heel.

"Get up and off your damn ass, you're so f-ing annoying." She then got off the bed and walked around the small room, examining things.

Ariel groaned loudly and rolled onto her stomach, her limbs spread. She grabbed the back of her head in pain and shouted into the pillow, "What the hell was that for?!" She then slowly let go of her head and sat up, looking around.

Gabrielle looked over to TK and smiled mischievously. She walked over to where she was, seeing as Ken went away. "It's been ten years, and I thought I might've forgotten by now, but staying close to you for this time has reeducated me again." She snickered.

"I'm sure you remember this."

She teleported behind TK, and then back in front of her, with a little shadowy flash. "Er, it should've been faster," Gabrielle apologized despite her very peculiar feat. "Didn't want to freak you out, heh."

Ryan looks at the wall across from him intently
"So apt to stroll into an enemy base?"

Ryan looks at everyone else's apparent lack of reaction to it, and looks back at the wall
"So, it seems you're either an illusion, or you're projecting yourself to me and me alone...so thus I will not waste my time or energy on you if you are not willing to show yourself to everyone and not just me."

Gabrielle, knowing she was ebing teased, giggled good-naturedly. "We would have to find out--" Gabrielle teleported to the side and sent a mild gust of wind towards TK "--about that."

Ryan narrows his eyes at the wall
"Coward? Powerless? Nothing can be farther from the truth."
Ryan gives a short laugh

"...why is it you stay hidden, then? Do you fear the power of my allies, demon?"

Ryan is silent for a moment before balling his fists
"I do it because it needs to be done...."

He trails off

Gabrielle turned around by reflex, and before she could get whipped back by the gusts, teleported away to another part of the training room and started sprinting in TK's direction, her hands looking like they were ready to grip on something. That was shown as a legitimate action, for in her hands was formed an icy blade.

"Sometimes ya' gotta play dirty!" she explaimed playfully, and teleported in one burst close to TKm swinging the blade with a smooth motion towards her.

Somehow, though, her attention was diverted to Ryan for a short while.
