Fragility of the Mind

(HOLY SHIZZ, LONG POST AGAIN. :O!)

Emir's face winces as he dreams something....

He was in some kind of room full of glass tanks and weird fluids and shapes into it. Emir looked around as he walked to a group of man, discussing something incoherent. When he came close to them, all of the room dissipated, and only a face of a aging man. balding with white hair, his face looks gaunt and pale, his forehead full of stress lines and his eyes protuberant...or his only eye. he was smiling. Saying with a voice that seems to be constricted and raspy.

"You're still alive, good. We can talk about your future...and the others who will accompany you as well. Hopefully you're glad that I'm alive no? I literally sacrifice myself to give your family a better life, so why try to kill me eh? Is it the fact I myself, killed something you cherish in that laboratory 10 years ago? She was a bitch, I would know."

Then the scene changed, The room looked like an asylum's patient room. Emir's hands bloody all over and the old man sliced to death, a smile on his face as his blood flowing from his body that flooded in the room. Emir seemed to panic in the scene, not because of the blood but the body and his hands. The blood seemed to be drained into the man and he stand up, walking to Emir and touched his shoulder. The room changed again and Emir was on the hill, lying on the hill where he buried his father. He panicked again, and ran to the grave, but there was no grave....only his father standing in front of him. Emir looked exactly like him: except that his father's face was not scarred, but more wrinkled on his eyes and his forehead much more bigger. He looked restless.

"Son, Enough. Strelok was doing his job.....he was forced to do so and began to be corrupted by power....It's human to do so. Even you, my boy, will succumb to the demon called Power. I want you to live life to the fullest, rather than just to get revenge on someone. It's understandable. You lost your mother, me and perhaps your sister, though is it worth it just to kill one man?"

Emir looked at him angrily, and punched his own father's face.

"You go by this man..." He stopped, and he knew what was happening. Then the scene changed again, and one large color changing eye began to grow bigger and bigger...


"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Emir screamed in real life.

He woke up, wiping the sweat from his forehead and took deep breaths.

"...you...feel that way? ...huh...first person I met that shared that opinion, it seems..."
He says, thoughtfully

"...perhaps..."
He says, still glancing to the side, not entirely sure what to say next

...mmmm....

"...well uh...hmmm...where are you from?"
He asks, looking at her now, sitting up right

...whoops...forgot that was on...

His eyes fade back to their normal red iris color as he syphons his power off to another copy elsewhere

"...I see...following me, huh? ...wow...since 18? How old are you now?"

Alevon was too focused on what Maya just said to realize that he may have frightened her

"...twenty...one...?"

He sinks into his chair a little bit, suddenly feeling terrible that the girl sitting in front of him had been watching him for that long, and he didn't know...it's like one of those sad highschool stories where somebody never gets the guts to ask someone they like out, and they end up going to prom with someone else...but in this case, the girl was left hanging for three years

"...I'm...sorry, Maya..."
He says, looking down a bit

Alevon's eyes widen for a split second before he puts his hand over his mouth

...TK...

He covers this action up with a cough, and looks down, leaning back in the seat
"...I see...then I am still sorry, for making you wait like that...I understand that things just happen, but that doesn't make it fair...so, I am sorry to you, Maya....and well...TK and I aren't exactly....uh....mmm..."
He trails off

"...well...we aren't together any more..."
He looks to the side again, sadness on his face

"...even in my best efforts of doing the right thing, I ended up hurting her....alot...and...well..."

He trails off, as he looks at his hand, now holding the glass ring fragments

Alevon rubs the back of his head

"...you know..."
He begins

He removes his hand and looks back down, hands on his lap
"...I was beginning to think I really was a villain...you know...what if what I was doing was actually bad...and that I was delusional...but...it makes me feel good that maybe I'm not the bad guy I was fearing I was..."
He smiles at her

Emir got out of bed, his scar bleeding.

"Fuck, it's happening again." He said, covering his bleeding forehead, trying to find the bathroom as he stumbled around the room.

Alevon blushes and looks to the side again

...this feeling...similar to the one I had when TK touched me like that..? Surely not...

Alevon shakes his head and slowly looks up to meet her gaze

...can't...be...

He looks into her eyes, the eyes of one who genuinely understands

He tenses up a little
"...I....uh...."
He tries to look away, but somehow can't

Alevon is speechless as he slowly reaches up to wrap his arms around her too, holding her tightly after a moment of hesitation

...this feeling...I can't even think straight...

He closes his eyes and gently leans his head on her shoulder
