Fragility of the Mind

Ariel gulped and jumped down from the metal bar, making another one shoot out from the wall to catch her. She landed on it with ease and looked up at the large wolf that nearly chomped her in two. She smirked.

"Fire sure as hell helps!" she shouted as she made the wolf's tail catch fire.

Ariel burned the oncoming shards, but jumped away as well in case a few managed to get through. She looked at the wolf for a moment, and then at the wall. She grinned wickedly as she caused a thick slab of metal to fly out of the wall, straight towards her attacker.

Ariel grunted in frustration, knowing she had to try and get a little closer. She looked at the ground and caused a large pillar to rise up to her level. She jumped onto it and made it rise higher so she was now closer to the wolf. She bared her teeth and set her attacker's backside on fire.

Ryan yawns

...and the question still persists...what am I to do?

Emir got silent again, more deep in thought to his sister than anything else. Why the heck was she in the bunker? Or why did Emir though she was...He was confused and needed answers quickly.

"What? Already?" Gabrielle piped out as she came in behind Emir, seeming to have stayed in the training room. "By whom?"

Gab was tired of feeling useless--she figured the best way to show them what she could do was to actually display some shadowy tricks.

Suddenly seeing TK disappear before her eyes, she tilted her head at Emir. "I guess I came in at the wrong moment?"

"Probably." Emir said, playing with the sling of his MG. "I wonder where's Tia....and Ariel."

"Oh, they're fighting outside"
Ryan says, jabbing a thumb at the front door

"Why?" Emir said, with no worry in his voice.

"Who are they fighting?" Gabrielle asked pressingly, assuming he was talking about them fighting together, not about them fighting against each other.

Ariel braced herself on the rock, concentrating hard on her opponent. She was feeling quite drained but knew she had to finish this. Staring straight into the wolf's eyes, she made the metal piece that was in her mouth fly out in front of her. It immediately broke up into a million sharp pieces. Then she made its head explode, bits of it flying everywhere as the jagged fragments impaled the wolf's body, going all over.

"Tia is possessed by the Masterminds"
Ryan says, a lack of care in his voice

Raine, still leaning against the door frame, watched the battle finish. She looked at Tia lying naked and motionless. She walked joined Ariel where she stood.

"You think it's over?" she asked nonchalantly, quivering slightly from the adrenaline.

Ryan pats his knees, waiting for the situation to fix itself, and after a moment, not hearing the storm outside anymore, he goes out and finds Ariel and Tia

Ariel panted and looked down, seeing Tia's body on the ground. She willed the pillar to descend back into the earth as she made her way down. She hopped off the stump of ground and walked over to her. She kneeled down next to her, checking her pulse and breathing. She was alive. Ariel sighed in relief.

"Yeah, I think it's over," she said quietly. She shrugged out of her jacket and wrapped it around Tia, picking her up gently. She grunted slightly from the effort but managed to keep the woman in her arms. Then she turned to Raine.

"Mind opening a portal INto the base? I don't think I can walk all the way there like this," she said, fatigued.
