Fragility of the Mind

He clears his throat, standing straight again from the punch, holding his side slightly for a moment...not having felt pain for awhile

Yia looked around as everyone was getting angry. He didn't know why but he was sure there was good reason everyone was getting really mad.

"Can I shoot you?" Emir asked Alevon, his revolver aiming for his head. "I'm actually getting tired of you being alive."

Ariel was breathing hard, her eyes glaring daggers at Alevon.

"How could you do that?" she asked through clenched teeth, her voice seething. "How could you betray everyone like that, especially TK!" She unclenched her fists to keep herself from punching him again. "Do you have any idea how much she went through because of this bullshit!?" She was near shouting at this point, though she really didn't know what purpose it was serving. She was angry all right, but moreso because of the fact that her best friend had to grieve over the death of the man she loved.

She heard something behind her and saw TK on the ground, unconscious. "TK!" she cried as she ran over to her, kneeling beside her.

As TK fell, she would stop in middair as if she were caught by someone

at that point, Alevon looks over at her and sighs...he dissapears and re-appears a moment later, holding her (where she fainted, not where he was)

"I'm so sorry..."
He whispers in her ear, with his eyes closed

He sighs

"...shall I start from the beginning?"
He asks Ariel and everyone else

Ariel growled, tempted to shove him away from her best friend but decided against it. She stood up and clenched her jaw, nodding.

"And none of your usual bullshit, Alevon," she murmured.

(Okay you know what? Fuck it. I'm done rping in this rp because I'm getting sick and tired of this fucking god mod shit already. From here on I'm out, maybe in the next rp depends if Ts is done God Modding.)

Emir sighed, cocking his gun.

"Why the hell do you do this to your fellow brothers and sisters? are you gonna say some kind of espionage bullshit you're gonna say into your story of yours?...Well....say it quickly before I will kill you."

He closes his eyes
"...well...about seven years ago, while pit-busting with Mike, I discovered the Mastermind's base of operations...it became apparent to me that they had power, and planned on using it with ill intentions...and thus I joined them in an effort to find out more about them and their plan...as to not be suspicious, and to help with my endeavors, I demanded a new power as payment...I was hospitalized for a year, due to the strength of the power..."
He opens his eyes and brushes TK's hair back a little

"...they had me go on assassination missions...fortunately, all of the targets were pit fiends and overall cruel and evil people...then, Saul, he worked with me as well, though I suspect he did it against his will, learned that the leader of this group was planning on using my body as his new body, as he is aging very quickly and needs a new one. With my goal not in sight, I took it upon myself to fake my death in an attempt to meet back up with this group as a new individual, so that you all would be out of harms way while I worked with you...now it seems that they found a new target, and so I am free to show myself to you now..."

He closes his eyes
"...so here I am...this is the truth...I wanted to spend one last night with you all, in good spirits, no lies, in case something bad happens tomorrow or in the future..."

Ariel averted her gaze to the floor, glaring at it. She clenched and unclenched her hands again, listening intently to every word Alevon said. She honestly didn't know what to make of it, and she really didn't feel like dealing with it now. She looked at Alevon, her dark eyes narrowed.

"Was it really necessary to lie to TK?" she asked quietly despite her anger.

"Yes....I regret it, but I would do it again if I had to. If they knew I was working with you, while I was the target, they would have gone for her first...as leverage for me to come to them."

Emir chuckled, still aiming at Alevon.

"Was it necessary to lie in the first place?"

Ariel nodded slowly, grudgingly acknowledging his point; he was right.

"You know about the Masterminds then," Ariel said. "How much can you tell us?" Any information Alevon had was crucial. They were not going to be easy to defeat, and they needed all the help they could get.

"I just explained why"
Alevon says to Emir

"...if any of you knew...they would know...they know now, but it doesn't matter anymore..."

He carresses TK's cheek
"...I can tell you all you need to know...I worked as their right hand man for half a decade"

Emir shrugged.

"How are we supposed to know that this information is actually accurate?"

He sighs
"...I don't expect you to trust me...I only ask that you do...."
His eyes are still closed

Ariel glared at Alevon as he touched her best friend, but did nothing. It wouldn't help the situation. She was still incredibly angry over what had just taken place but she would have to deal with it. Now was not the time to start fights amongst themselves when they had another war to fight.

"That's good. We need as much information as possible if we have any hope of defeating the Masterminds," Ariel sighed, rubbing her temples. She was getting another headache, this one quite painful. She needed to rest and recharge her batteries.

"Does your head hurt, Ariel?"
Alevon asks in a soothing voice

Ariel glanced at Alevon then back at the floor. She removed her hands and swallowed.

"It's nothing," she said in a quiet voice. "I just need some sleep. It's been a rough day."

Ariel would suddenly feel really good, her headache gone, and she felt well-rested
Alevon opens his eyes, his head still leaning on TK's, and he looks at Ariel

Ariel blinked a few times, suddenly feeling better. She looked at Alevon, surprised. Then her eyes suddenly narrowed.

"What did you do?" she nearly growled.

"I made you feel better...if you don't like it, then I can stop...."
He says in a low voice, yielding to her wishes as the effects slowly wear off
