Fragility of the Mind

Alevon observes the people in the room, looking at each of their faces and listening to what they have to say. He watches Leana leave and considers going after her for a moment before deciding against it. He nods to himself, as if something has donned on him.

Alevon licks his teeth, something he seldom does.

Ariel slowly walked through the tiny forest and back to the base, for once not thinking about anything. Leana was quiet and said nothing which was also surprising. She sighed and tried to hurry up but felt too drained. She eventually made it to the elevator and went inside, pressing the button that would take her down. She waited patiently for it and soon enough found herself where she was before. She walked down the hallway, now not needing to support herself on the wall. She felt extremely tired from the mental strain she was put under and decided to go to sleep. Though she knew that she would have questions to answer so she tried to keep herself awake. She ran into TK and company and stopped.

"What are you guys doing now?" she asked tiredly, rubbing her eyes.

Alevon looks at Maya, and at her bloody shirt. He then takes his jacket from the ground and dusts it off, placing it around her shoulders. He smiles at her
"There you go, I figured you may want to cover up, as to not draw the public's eye"
He winks and nods upward, noting the fact that there's a mall over them

He turns to TK and the others
"I will aid in the fight, but after that, there is something I must do that may take some time before we head out...some personal matters I must attend to."

He turns back to Maya
"You are free to come of course, but I'm not going to force you if you don't want to come, Maya"
He smiles and pats her shoulder

Alevon looks back at TK and his eyes close partially as he raises his eyebrows

Alevon shakes his head lightly and closes his eyes.
He then looks at his hand and flexes the muscles in it, moving each finger individually, then balling it into a fist

"I'm within earshot"
He says in a monotonous voice, still flexing his hands, now flexing both hands

He then stretches...the paralisis thing leaves an odd feeling in the body

Alevon then does a few more stretching excercises
"Think as you like"
He says, leaning to the right in his stretching

Alevon yawns as well
"Ah, contagion..."
He coments at the yawn, ignoring what TK said, as he had no intentions of fighting anyone unless he had the intent to rip them to pieces...which he didn't plan on doing to TK

He then pats his stomach, as it growls again.
"Pardon me, TK, but would there happen to be any food left? I appreciate it"

"Ah, that's alright....I appologize for the mess...I'll clean it up then"
He says, walking over to where the mess is, as he notices it.
He then kneels down and sweeps his hands over the floor, absorbing it

Gabrielle, stunned by Ariel's very spontaneous and uncharacteristic act, walked into the room with shivering shoulders and uncertain eyes. "What's wrong with Ariel?" she inquired. Overhearing bits and pieces of TK's convesation, she sat down on her bunk and grit her teeth.

"If most people want to tag along, I don't want to be left behind either. Please, take me with you. In fact I've been planning to leave Michigan for a while now." She felt ashamed for announcing her desertion in such a tactless manner, and also for ruining everybody's good spirits. But that was for a couple of people she was sure about anyway--some she wasn't so sure if they'd be jubilant or simply indifferent.

She breathed in some air. "Unless I absolutely have to, I'm not going back to where I came from."
