Fragility of the Mind

Alevon was at a loss for words...he didn't know what to say or do...his trip was for specific personal reasons and he didn't really want anyone else going...but yet, at the same time, it was fine for Udo to come along...he didn't know what to think or say

"I....uh......"
He starts

He closes his eyes
"I would say yes, Udo, but some affairs are simply ones of a personal level. You may come, but I'm afraid that you must leave me to my private affairs when the time comes along in this trip"
He says

"If that is alright with you, then I'd be happy to escort you along."

Udo nodded.
"Agreed. I simply need a guide for a moment. To be honest, I'm note even sure what state this base is in." He laughed to himself.

"I myself am lost in that matter as well...as we have been going from base to base relatively often...I've lost track of it."

He takes a step back and motions Udo to go first, to exit the room

"Let us go then"
He says

"Stay safe, everyone"
He waves

Alevon looks a little sad for a moment before he says to TK, in a reassuring voice
"You're going to be ok, Tsinanae...I promise"

And with that, he makes his way for the exit

Alevon would walk to the elevator and wait for Udo and Maya to enter before he presses the button to go up

Gabrielle let go of her moody side enough to stumble out of bed and watch Alevon and Udo depart from the base again. She squinted and sighed, used to the come-and-go of the base. "I've become narcoleptic," she mumbled and popped the rigid bones of her hands.

She turned around and silently went into TK and Videor's room. She smiled weakly at them and made her way on the bed, not giving too much heed for Videor and whether she was spoiling a moment for them. It might've been a jerk move, but she was a reminder that if she was being catapulted away from everything close to her she wouldn't let TK and enjoy herself more than Gabrielle was.

Besides, she needed a friend right then.

Gabrielle tilted her head and closed her eyes, putting both feet on the bed. "Mr Videor, am I special?" That out-of-the-blue question, courtesy of a nagging habit, was one of the many she was planning to ask him.

Leana's face brightened as Gabrielle walked into the room and she smiled happily.

"Hi Gabrielle!" she greeted. She almost forgot about the question she had directed at Videor, but she had to speak to him. However, she really wanted to spend time with Gabrielle. She pouted as she tried to make a decision.

'Help me?'

'It's your choice.'

'Well you're a lot of help.'

Leana sighed quietly and waited, realizing that Gabrielle asked Videor something. She didn't want to be a bother. She wanted to answer the question and tell her crush that she was very special, but she decided to stay quiet.

Sighing in relief but now a little surprised by Videor's answer, Gabrielle looked at TK, then Leana (giving the 'wait a little, darling' look) and gave her a worried look. "Should you really be hopping along like that? You've been in a lot of fights today, I mean. It'll be good to conserve some energy for tomorrow."

Gabrielle looked around for something to grip onto. Talking with her hands was another nagging habit the umbra-psycho tried to avoid. "I might just be weaker, but I'm really out of it after just a few panthers." She shrugged. "I don't do a lot. I try to pretend... they don't exist. Try to live like in the sitcoms, you know?" She chuckled nervously at the way she spoke.

Leana glared at her friend.

"Be quiet you," she commanded. "You're hurt and need to rest." She tried not to sound worried though she couldn't help it. Then she fell silent and waited patiently for someone to speak to her. For once she wasn't saying anything and was ready to wait until she was spoken to.

Alevon would proceed to go through the mall until he reached a phone or electronics store. He purchases a simple cell phone. Contrary to popular belief, or maybe not, Alevon is, for lack of a better word, 'loaded'. Through the five years of which he had lived at the base, Alevon had accumulated quite a large amount of money, spending almost none of it...with no bills to pay, and with the Unhonerable paying his way through college, Alevon has made quite the pretty penny.

Alevon texts TK (he already knew her number for certain reasons that I will only explain if you PM me)

'Hi there, it's Alevon. Just texting to tell you that I got the phone, and that I forgot to tell you all one of the reasons I'm going out...it's a favor for the group if you will...I'm recruiting some people to aid us in the Mastermind battle. Sorry for the long text.'

He would then go and do said thing

Leana nodded and quickly reached out to fish TK's cell phone out of her pocket. She opened it and read the text message, not even bothering to ask for permission; she didn't think her friend would mind. She sighed and rolled her eyes before reading it out loud.

"'Hi there, it's Alevon. Just texting to tell you that I got the phone, and that I forgot to tell you all one of the reasons I'm going out...it's a favor for the group if you will...I'm recruiting some people to aid us in the Mastermind battle. Sorry for the long text.'"

Leana grumbled something incoherent and tossed the cell phone beside TK. She rubbed the back of her neck and said nothing, glancing at Gabrielle. Then she looked at TK and smirked slightly.

Alevon hums and pulls the phone back out, texting TK again
'Did I get the right number? If not, I appologize to you, sir or madam'

"Just text 'OK, see you'," Gabrielle said, offering relationship advice. "Better to be on the optimistic side, you see."

She turned to Leana. "It's been a long time. For me, at least. I would've waited for you to come back, but the way things were I thought you were gone for good." She smiled shyly. "Did anybody tell you about Lance?"
