I don't know if I am more amused or annoyed that I am up so early on a Sunday morning that the newspaper hasn't even arrived yet...

Such productivity; think of the possibilities!
Think of how much you've already done today compared to me, whose day only started now!

Wonderful, think of the money
that is probably going to be swallowed up by the huge void that is student debt

Note to self: Once basketball season starts, have a calendar of the games prepared, not because you plan on going to any of them, but so you know which days to NOT park in the lots you payed money for, because if you park there on those days, you will get ticketed and/or towed

Okay! So! Just took my first linguistics exam. at almost two months in, it is the last class to have given an exam thus far. Hell, my anatomy class is getting ready to take our third here pretty soon.
Linguistics is the class I have probably been struggling the most in, except maybe stats, so I was pretty nervous. I studied, I memorized, but sitting there waiting for the exam to get passed out, I was still shaking a little bit.
Tweeenty minutes later, out of the room I walk. I was one of the first to leave. And I actually felt that I did pretty well

Hmm, what to do on a Friday?
Option 1: after my last class, try to get into the basketball opening ceremony that people will have started waiting in line for today, IF I get in, wait 3 hours for the event to start, and from there who the fuck knows
Option 2: Go play in the Alumni Band at my old high school's football game. Been wanting to do this for a couple of years (got rained out last year), pretty much guaranteed I will see some old friends, and get to see a football game for free.
Option 3: Do nothing. Go to HyVee, get some cookies, and hang around with my friends all afternoon (and night)
Option 4: the fuck if I know
Option 5: wait, I was supposed to come up with more options???
Option 6: No
Option 7: I SAID NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Opt-----
...yeah we're not doing that. seriously though, no idea what I am doing tomorrow

So I found out something funny, and kind of encouraging
While antidepressants do run the risk of increasing thoughts of suicide, studies have shown that increased antidepressant use is also associated with a decrease in numbers of SUCCESSFUL suicides.
Good to know.

I just realized that even if I were interested in dating, I am probably too socially inept to pick up on social cues and actually talk to girls (or guys as the case could be in a fictional scenario) Example: girl comes up to me in the cafeteria and asks me 'is this seat taken?' I say no Girl sits down and starts to say something, but I am already getting up and packing my bag 'I needed to head over to strong anyway' And walk off and the girl is just sitting there, heartbroken, because she had been building up the courage to talk to me, and i just walked off
God DAMN IT I am getting sad, and angry at myself, over a fictional scenario i made up in my head! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?!!!?!?!??!

Practice makes perfect. Just start paying more attention to every fine detail about a person and how they act. Then again, I started doing that a long time ago, and now I hate people and don't want a relationship. Lol
In some cases, ignorance really is bliss.
EDIT
On second thought, if you were interested, we could totally go people-watching sometime and study behavior.

In reference to pre-edit: Didn't really care about having a relationship in the first place; kind of the point of the post
In reference to post-edit: sure. Sounds like fun

I think there has come a point in literally every semester where I ask myself why the fuck I am still at college.
usually followed by a mild bout of passive suicidality
and then I smack myself and get back to work
why do I do this?
