Little Me- Nightcore

I really want to commission a picture of a character, just because I think it would look cool

just...not sure how to describe the pose...

basically, the character is walking away from the viewer, so you can't see her face, but you can just tell from the way her position was captured that she is completely at ease.
this is the hard part: the character has a scythe balanced across her shoulders, such that the freaking massive blade is hanging downwards, and her arms draped over the weapon to hold it in place, the way water buckets used to be carried (with a yoke, i think? I am totally blanking on the term right now). just, incredibly casual

Not sure if a good or a bad thing that I went out to get lunch today

because on the one hand, it took so long to get my food i didn't have time to eat it

but

now i know that my tire has a flat and i can change it in the stability of a parking lot, instead of trying to change it on the side of the highway

Update: apparently i managed to get a nail lodged in my tire on the way back from lunch.
on the upswing the AAA guy who came out to help me said that I was the first person he had ever seen who had actually put the car jack in the right place. so there's that...

Went for my first cold-weather rain run today

It... was not as bad as I was expecting, honestly

i mean yeah, it was 35 F and apparently started pouring after i started (it was only drizzling when i went out), but once i got warmed up about a half-mile in, i legit didn't even notice

fun stuff

i do the thing that cats do, and i do it wrong
in the presence of people they trust and are comforatable around, cats blink slowly to show that trust
when i pass by people, i nod, blinking slowly as i do so
that is a terrible survival instinct, and not all that great of a social one

That moment when Planet Sub is better at keeping track of my birthdays and half-birthdays then i am...
